Discussion: Pelosi Describes Trump's 'Temper Tantrum' As He Pounded The Table

Had a kid do that once. He was a KG student, and he simply could not resist pulling it. After the FD came, and all the dust settled, he admitted that he might have “bumped it with my elbow on accident.” The fire alarm was about a foot over his head.

Wasn’t Khrushchev the only guy who did that? I remember laughing at it at the time, but I’m not aware of others doing it since then. I’m not all that well-versed in Russian protocol, though.

Not all that interesting. We know what he meant, paul. He’s made similar posts plenty of times.

And what are the odd of the 25th Amendment actually removing Trump?

She knows what she’s doing and I’m here for it.

I am pro impeachment but as I see it’s my role as a citizen to demand it so that my rep knows the support is there when the time comes. I don’t hold it against Pelosi that she/Democrats are waiting because I trust she knows what she’s doing. We can walk and chew gum.

he’s been critical of Pelosi. Both as a leader (Speaker), and as a communicator (speaker)

And I can assure you that he knows there are far worse “Speakers” – like Gingrich, and Hastert – than Nancy Pelosi.

But when it comes to being a bad communicator, Pelosi is in a class by herself.

As I said elsewhere today, She’s not attacking Trump with a stilletto. She’s using a damp dish towel – occasionally, you might get a snap and a sting, but the rest of the time its just useless, pointless flailing…

There’s that projection again.

better than an intervention having any impact at all…

So you say. I disagree.

funny. nasty, but still funny.

Unicorns farting sparkles. The path to Trump’s removal runs through the 2020 Election. Unless you want Trump in office after 2020.

I don’t actually disagree that the 25th amendment is not gonna happen.

my point was that Pelosi seemed to be saying that Trump was unfit – emotionally unbalanced or unstable. If she believes that (and I certainly do) then she should be talking about the 25th Amendment – and do so openly and publicly.

If his problems are severe enough that he needs an intervention, he shouldn’t be President. If she thinks they aren’t that severe, she should not be taking that kind of cheap shot, because LOTS of us do think he’s nuts.

So what’s the point then? Is it really all that hard to acknowledge that the only way to remove Trump is through next year’s election?

Having hiked in the vicinity, it’s difficult to believe there were ever woods there, let alone bears.

“Nancy, as I call her.” Someday Nancy, Chuck, Adam and Jerry, as he calls them, will call him donald and that will be stroke level freakout.

actually, I do think impeachment is an option.

For instance – if we find out that Trump has been involved in Russian money laundering, or maybe is in hock to Russia for a couple of billion dollars, don’t you think that would make enough of a difference to everyone but the most rabid Trump supporters to force the Senate to act?

Should it come at the expense of the Election? Why do you dodge and weave over the supreme importance of winning in 2020?

Take a look at the Senate Republican roster. Good luck finding 20 who would convict. Good luck finding 10. More unicorns farting sparkles, Paul.

The Speaker of the House is not going “attack” the president of the United States. It’s clear she’s the only one of them who has respect for the office. What he does is childish, foolish, belligerent demonstrating how ignorant he is about his office and ultimately pointless. He has no respect except from rally rubes, and she has the respect of the entire Democratic caucus, and her constituency which returns her again and again to office.

You forgot to mention asskissing feckless Ryan as another speaker trumPP would like to still have around.
