Discussion: Paul Ryan To Tea Party, 2016 GOPers: We Can't Be 'Angry Reactionaries'

It’s fun to pretend, Paul. But if Republicans actually had any ideas, you’d think we would have heard about them by now.

“We win when we have an ideas contest…"

Hey, I have an idea for a contest…

yeah right, watch the angry reactionary freak-out to Obama’s mosque speech today. Ryan might as well ask a fox not to kill chickens.

Ryan’s glaringly obvious contradictions are no different than a Sarah Palin word salad, it’s just that she garnishes hers with waaaaaaay more hatred and spite.

They already have as far as they’re concerned. It depends on the definition you give to “solve.” See, they want cut taxes to redistribute wealth upwards, increase poverty, particularly in inner cities, and use the deficits they deliberately created as justification for obliterating all social assistance, thereby (they hope) forcing all the darkies out of their states into blue states that will actually help them…at which point there will be no darkies nearby to be racist towards and they can claim they are no longer racist…or something lol…

Ryan:

We call you Eddie Munster for the same reason people called Josef Stalin, “Uncle Joe”.

The most repulsive people get nicknames, too.

You might as well tell a bunch of angry badgers that they can’t dig holes.

Wow…this asshole is real fluent in doublespeak. What an ingratiatingly weird message, where Ryan simultaneously approves of the Teabaggers message, yet denounces their idiotic behavior because according to him…it’s all the liberals fault “for making you act that way”.

We can’t fall into the progressives’ trap of acting like angry reactionaries.”

That’s right RAyn…its a TRAP!! You manly-men, from the House of RAyn, gird your loins…and protect yourselves from the coming onslaught…

“We know that the economy is weak”

Yeah, and so the only bills we’ve been trying to pass are about restricting abortion access.

This Congress doesn’t have a clue as to how to improve the economy…very few of them have any notion…

And since many of their family members are lobbyists for corporations and special interests (I am still waiting for some investigative journalist to write this story), they’ll just keep doing their bidding.

I foresee a RINO-primarying in Marathon Man’s future.
(Started drinking heavily yet Speaker Ryan?)

We lose when we have a personality contest.

“Our dried voices, when
We whisper together
Are quiet and meaningless
As wind in dry grass
Or rats’ feet over broken glass
In our dry cellar
Shape without form, shade without colour,
Paralysed force, gesture without motion”

And alcohol… Lots and lots of alcohol.

In a call to unite conservatives, Ryan said, “We win when we have an ideas contest. We lose when we have a personality contest. We can’t fall into the progressives’ trap of acting like angry reactionaries.”

How exactly did they “trap” you? By electing an African-American President, thereby pissing off all the bigots in your party?
It’s harder to trap a dead squirrel.

The speaker accused President Barack Obama of trying to “distract” the American electorate into voting for a Democrat, and urged conservative politicians to focus on achievable goals that are important to their base.

Achievable goals? Damn, Sparky, your side is so hell-bent on undoing anything with President Obama’s mark – and this has been going on for seven years, dude!! – Where the hell have you been?

We need to be inclusive,” Ryan said. “We need to show how our principles and policies are universal and how they apply to everybody.

Well, golly-gee-whiz, you assholes could have fooled me (an openly gay man), the vast majority of black Americans (voting rights, anyone?), those with a brown complexion or a Middle Eastern name (hate crimes too numerous to list).

We know that the economy is weak. We know that the world is on fire.

No, the economy actually is going quite well right now – no thanks to anyone on your side of the aisle. It’s wages that aren’t do so well – thanks to everyone of your side of the aisle.

The world on fire? – Says a right-winger who loves to pretend the right isn’t the group of jerks who keep lighting matches. Give it up, Ryan – your side is anti-everyone who isn’t a member of the NRA or those with a net worth of the likes that 95% of us will never see. Your side is racist. Your side if homophobic. Your side continuously denies climate science. Your side is anti-choice for women (primarily all females who aren’t in that top 5% who have the financial means to travel out of state or out of the country to act on her choice). Your side is constantly searching for ways to deny more Americans the right to vote. Your side is Cliven Bundy’s friend. Do I need to continue, fucker? You people have no principles that anyone with a brain would choose to stand for. Your side is hateful, dictatorial, favors big-brother and the corporate boardrooms over the average worker with regards to a livable wage – and your side is quite happy to watch many of us have to hold down two and three jobs just to pay rent, put food on the table, save for college or a home. You guys are despicable. You guys are ugly-hearted and actually take pride in being ugly-hearted.
