It almost feels like they are burying the lede. The evangelical Pat Robertson is defending Bolling (and O’Reilly) as “a dedicated Catholic,” and it doesn’t seem to be intended as an insult or mark against their character. When did the fundamentalists become so chummy with the heretical Roman Catholics?

I used to work with a religious guy who has since become a pastor for some grifty thing. He wouldn’t let his wife order at restaurants for herself. It seems like they are all pretty clear with what their end goals are.

Actually, that was Jerry Falwell back in 1999. Admittedly it’s easy to get these far right evangelicals confused, though. They use Christianity to defend their right wing ideology just as the Jihadists use Islam to defend theirs. All phonies and all dangerous.
I keep wondering what part of the New Testament these so-called “Christians” don’t understand.
