Discussion: Papadopoulos Marvels Over Whirlwind Year, Wife Hints He May Leave Plea Deal

Please proceed, Papadoofus.

Mueller already has your signed statements, which cannot be revoked.
He no longer needs your testimony.
And when you go to trial, it all becomes public information.

Win/win for us. Lose/lose for you.

I’m rooting for ya, Georgie!!!

While you’re high, yes. Afterwards?..which reminds me…

Maybe her real name is sSimona Manikov?

What plea deal?

Papadopoulos has plead guilty.

The OSC has filed a pleading with the court saying Papadopoulos never cooperated and should be sentenced according to sentencing guidelines for someone who did not cooperate.

Unless, I’m missing something, there is no deal.

Withdrawing a guilty plea is a different matter, very difficult to do and always up to the judge. Even if Mueller agreed to not oppose the withdrawal (fat chance), it’s still up to the judge. Federal judges do not enjoy the reputation of setting aside guilty pleas every time someone reconsiders.

Actually, I was wondering if either the EPA or FDA had evaluated the potential toxicity of cofeve fumes?

Ha! Brain cramp! Why would I even think that, given the current and recent leadership of either of those agencies?!

Nevertheless, my theory is that he’s more likely to be suffering from some undocumented aftereffect of all that cofeve…

Or he might be thinking about actually cooperating, seeing as he’s essentially being burned by his handler. Who knows?

She’s a Russian Agent and they don’t want him cooperating with Mueller.

I am certain she is whispering in his ear that Trump will pardon him if he clams up and withdraws his plea.

By talking him into withdrawing his guilty plea, she gets his case put back on the docket and delayed, delayed, delayed while they go through the Kabuki Theater of pre-trial motions and pleas and preparing an actual trial against him.

She also gets a good change of having him locked up awaiting trial where he can be easily wacked by a Russian stooge in jail.

Problem solved. She returns to Russia.

Hey, Be Best.

Feels like a lot of balls are in play. Useful distractions? From this to Trump’s fight with the IC, what are we not supposed to see?

Papadopoulos’ wife seems to think he can just wave a wand and go back to square one. It doesn’t usually work like that. If he has already entered his guilty plea he does not have an absolute right to withdraw it. He has to show a “fair and just reason” acceptable to the court, which he probably cannot do.

The only thing to dispute about that is the bimbo part. Mother Russia does not employ stupid spies.

It could be that the Papadopoulos’s are looking to the future. If George is considered a TRAITOR to the conservative cause then he can kiss good-bye to any lucrative post-administration job at a right-wing think tank or as a FOX news commentator.

I hate to break this to Coffee-Server, but if a judge says you aren’t getting out of a plea deal, you aren’t getting out of it.
