Discussion: O'Reilly To Trump: Are You Contributing To 'Demonization Of All Muslims'? (VIDEO)

One thing we know about Trump is that the more he tweets or says something, the more likely it is either a lie or he is hiding something. Every time something comes up related to one group or another, he says “I have a lot of friends …”. This is one of several verbal ticks (e.g. “believe me”). In reality, he probably doesn’t have a real friend in the world – and deep down he knows it.

I would just love for anyone from the MSM to respond to Trump’s statement that he has many Muslim friends by simply saying “No, you don’t.”

The man’s instinctive reaction is to lie. He doesn’t even contemplate whether a lie is necessary. He is only concerned with what he might say, in that moment, that will help him.

Well, Trump promised to contribute, but he never delivered the check.

My greatest concern about Trump’s viability was that he’d self censor to the extent that he’d actually have a shot at winning. I’m no longer concerned, he’s actually getting worse by which I mean better for us.

My thought exactly.

  1. I doubt this man has “Many” friends of any description…
    and
  2. I would love for him to name one Muslim friend of his who will publicly come out in support of his proposed ban.

Seriously, does he have a Saudi Prince somewhere he’s done business with who thinks, “Yeah, you know what, banning all Muslims from entering the US? I like that idea…”

I have a verbal tic also: The Creature, Trump ™.

Don the Con is a used car salesman. He says whatever he needs to to get the sale. Truth or lie doesn’t enter into his equation.

Here is the problem with satirizing Trump;

""I get calls from many people, who are Muslim, thanking me. I have some incredible friends, some wonderful friends. Some are very successful, some aren’t. But I have many Muslim friends, and they’re thanking me – "

This is what he actually said. But it is also pretty much what I would have written to parody him.

(Even that little bit about “some are very successful, some aren’t” is a perfect Trumpism - Trump’s constant obsession with who is a “loser” and who isn’t even though it is not all relevant to the claim he is attempting to make.)

One wonders how many people, even among Republicans, reading this actually believes what he is saying.

It is too bad he wasn’t asked: “Name some.”

Any of them…all of them.

Exactly! The only thing that ever issues from Trump’s mouth is b_ll sh1t.

Of course it does. What a ridiculous question and an even more absurd answer.

I beg to differ just a bit…

he probably has all the friends he can afford to buy…

I get calls from many people, who are Muslim, thanking me.

Also, Trump has no friends or even wives. He has employees.

Yes, why is this a question and not a statement?

“I get calls from many people, who are Muslim, thanking me. I have some incredible friends, some wonderful friends. Some are very successful, some aren’t. But I have many Muslim friends, and they’re thanking me – many of them, not all of them but many of them,” Trump continued.

Jesus Christ the shit just constantly spews out of his mouth in random order. And I thought Palin was a kook!
