Old man Bundy’s fate was also my first thought. We’d like to see justice served against that freeloading cowboy star too. Why hasn’t some legal remedy been levied against him yet? Surely the IRS if no other agency has a case against him?

While most of the occupiers have been arrested, four have refused to leave, despite Bundy’s urging. … They have said they want assurances they won’t be arrested.

There’s a better story on The Oregonian’s website. The indictment is sealed, so we don’t yet know what’s in it, but I do wonder if there’s a possibility that Daddy Cliven will also be indicted. I also wonder if the remaining four people at the refuge are included in the indictment. It will be unsealed today, so things could get interesting very quickly.

Yep. Just another day in the world of people who claim to love the Constitution but haven’t one friggin’ clue how our system of government, including our judicial system, works. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Oregon is playing hardball here and it’s a thing of beauty to watch. The lawyers for the defendants are out of their depth.

By now Cliven Bundy’s lawyers could claim their client was deprived of a speedy trial, so he skates on all charges. Expect anything that happens to his sons to be called revenge against the old fart. About the only price he will pay is watching his spawn waste away in prison. And he will probably get a book deal on top of that.
The FBI allowed a large group to leave the refuge on the night of the arrests and Blaine Cooper was one of them. He’s one scary guy and apparently hiding somewhere. I am inclined to believe that the remaining indictments are for the four left inside the refuge and Blaine Cooper. We’ll see.

Hopefully, the indictment includes felony murder, as these domestic terrorists were involved in committing a felony when their lame brain buddy assaulted the police and was then taken care of.
Must be with Cheney in his undisclosed location. You know Cheney, the sneering guy who occupied a federal building in DC for 8 years while protected by armed guards and who actually shot a guy. Tortured his victims and bragged it was just “enhanced interrogation.” Much scarier guy.

That’s not how the law works. If a cop or someone else had been killed during the incident on the road, then such an indictment is possible, especially for the guy who pulled the gun. For instance, if the cop had killed the person next to the guy who pulled the gun, the guy who pulled the gun could be charged with murder.

Wait a minute! Other than the fact that these people brought lots of weapons, and threatened to use them, what proof do you have of your allegations?!?
