ETA: Go look at the book on Amazon. The comments are a firestorm of funny and it’ll weird out the algorithms that analyze your viewing there.
ETAA: God, the book is published by White Feather Press, the owner of which says something about some book where the feather was a symbol of dreams or fulfillment or some such. But it’s traditionally a symbol of—everyone together, 1, 2, 3—cowardice! This is why it pays to know trivia.

Disregard for societal norms, obliviousness to the emotional impact that your actions and choices have on others combined with an insistence on others conforming to your beliefs and norms, paranoia and inability to accurately assess risks and appropriate responses to them. Yeah, these are the values we need to transmit to our kids.
These guys are just not equipped to get that the very things about them that make them so insistent on flaunting their guns everywhere they go is the thing that makes the rest of us really, really, really uncomfortable.
And of course Dick Strong is a white guy with a mustache and a farmer’s hat. Somehow, however, they failed to convey the barely repressed rage around the eyes that seems to be the norm for mustachioed white guys with farmer’s caps and a gun, however.
Update He does, however, seem to bear an uncanny resemblance to Gomez Addams.

Brings up a question (re: light clothing) - are there Open Carry Allowed Nudist/Freikörper Camps?
All the guys would think they are carrying long rifles with extra large magazines…

That’s why a lot of people prefer conceal carry. The open carry folks will be the first target of any shooter.
