Discussion: Omarosa Sued By DOJ For Alleged Ethics Violation

With the DOJ going after her, it’s almost like Omarosa isn’t white.

Oh wait…

Typically the government doesn’t go after ex-employees for administrative stuff. They’re no longer on payroll, so at most they’d end up blacklisted from being re-employed.

This really smells like the newly-weaponized DOJ doing the proverbial stake-out to catch you jaywalking so that they have something to nail you with (everyone commits crimes, whether they’re aware of it or not. Most of us just don’t have a full-time prosecutor dedicated to finding something to pin on us).

The cup of ethics violations runneth over in this administration. They are all fuckin’ guilty and the DoJ is now seeking revenge for disloyalty.

What happens when a Dictator has his own police force?

Maybe this will wake up the sleepyheads. Barr must be Impeached. In any event, Dem voters and Congressmen/women should see through this and accelerate their movement toward the Impeachment Inquiry of Trump.

Right now, the fact that Trump is less popular than 50% is our main weapon, given Trump’s Obstruction. The second (and related) thing is that Americans have never been under a dictator.

The sleepy-headedness is actually related to the resultant furor against Trump when we finally wake up…

OT The DOJ should never be referred to as anything but,“Trump’s DOJ” going forward, as long as Barr is A.G.

Its pretty easy to imagine the champagne corks flying chez Awful Person Omarosa. She just got another 15 minutes! She’s gonna drag this through the press, as the martyr of all martyrs, the valiant and fierce warrior who spoke truth to power. When it was convenient and made no difference, of course, but who’s paying attention?

Right?! Isn’t the current Chief Executive suing the US House of Representatives to avoid having to disclose his subpoenaed financial statements? I will never like Omarosa and loathed her since long before it was cool, but this is so obviously political retribution and selective prosecution. It’s been made crystal clear from the top on down that one’s finances are to be fiercely protected.

Gee, that’s the pot calling the kettle Barr.

Meh. It’s only what, the third or forth major scandal OF TODAY.

Everything gets lost in that. Tomorrow will bring a couple more, by Friday the Supremes will have approved a Census question and a plan to have ICE hand-deliver ALL census forms to everyone across America…

There is a horrible woman beyond description, I hope the punishment includes pulling her tongue with hot tongs.

As if it wasn’t already hard enough for Trump to find people willing to debase themselves to work for him, now they have to worry about a weaponized, corrupt DoJ coming after them when they leave if it’s on bad terms -and it almost always is. Trump is probably the worst boss in the history of bad bosses.

Jared Kushner is only one of the first few repeat-offenders who come to mind.

On the other hand, I suppose we should be grateful if at least Republicans are willing to hold (some) Republicans accountable for egregious behavior.

Well, when you can’t sue her over violating a NDA …

I’m kind of surprised this was the best Barr’s team could come up with. You’d think a grifter who’d been with Trump as long as Omarosa would have done so much more.

By the way, did Kushner ever get his financial disclosure forms straightened out? Of course, his was a case of lying on them repeatedly, and then having to file 1,000,000,000 versions of the same form. But, that’s apparently not a problem.

Maybe hope something else instead.

Not to mention disparate treatment with the case of Kellyanne Conway who is violating ethics and the Hatch Act multiple times, yet being allowed to continue to be employed by the vindictive Donald John Trump.

That’s the same penalty… Hopefully Omarosa is reading TPM, any half-assed lawyer should have a field day with this one.

Probably one of the reasons they chose Omarosa as their guinea pig here is because she’s so universally disliked and because they’re far more likely to get away with doing this to her than any of the other apostates.

Remember that term going forward:

TRUMP’S DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE

In fact, all Americans had better remember it.

Remember it when we think about things like voting and counting votes

We were too casual in 2016. But we can stop Trump easily…We simply have not woken up yet. The vast majority of Americans are not thinking about Omarosa or what her “suit” by Trump’s DOJ means.

YET
