Discussion: Omarosa Sued By DOJ For Alleged Ethics Violation

Through what, exactly, short of the election in 2020?

The only potentially achievable options like coups are slightly illegal.

So like um…when does the DOJ get around to suing Kushner for his financial disclosure shenanigans?

Disloyalty has a price.

I can think of one founder, big guy known for having a temper, who’d consider vomiting an unjustifiable waste of time that could be better spent kicking asses.

Makes me hope OmarOsa still has a few arrows in her quiver.

Also, @tierney… I’m not accustomed to grammatical errors in your pieces. Just say’n.

Well, sorta:

Before supporting Trump’s campaign she was a Democrat and even worked for the Clinton administration.

It’s right up there with VRA enforcement.

Honestly, that seems like far too much forethought on their part. More likely, Trump just happened to see her on the TV machine last week and demanded that Barr find something to pin on her.

Well there should be at least a couple of floors dedicated to all the resignations and firings that have happened in the Trump first 2 1/2 years.

Nailed it. Barr might have bitten off more than he can chew, and by looking at him there isn’t much he can’t chew, taking on Omarosa. No fan of hers but she is a snake of Trumpian proportions so this ought to be interesting. Bring on the tapes.

From Politico

“Since my departure from the White House in 2017, I have attempted to get back my six boxes of personal items, which included financial records needed for this report,” she said in a statement responding to the suit. “The White House has admitted that they have my things … and yet refuse to return these items. … This lawsuit as well as the arbitration is political retribution from the White House, plain and simple.”

Thanks for the link… This should be interesting (goes online to check popcorn futures)…

It does have more than a bit of the same feeling as claiming that Comey was fired for his handling of Hillary, which was something that many of us were legitimately angry about (even though it was clearly not the reason for Trump’s action).

So will discovery include the filings (dated) if everyone else who’s left the administration?

She better have a good lawyer who knows how to finesse that kind of threat. You can’t just say drop the suit or I’ll release the tapes. That’s blackmail or extortion, as avenatti is learning.

Trump Revenge. She would not fall on her sword as required by the Emperor. If I was her I would take advantage of the dirt she has on Drumpf and use it to thoroughly kick his ass.

Too many of the American people greedily watch movies based on books.

But they don’t read the History behind the books.

So that makes them slow to pick up on what Trump is doing. But their wont, habit and experience of being a free people will both make them unprepared for a Dictator and “OH-NO-YOU-DID-NOT-JUST-DO-THAT-TO-ME” type of angry at what Trump is trying to put in place.

They are technologically brilliant…but not into History.
