Discussion: Ohio GOP Guv's Nonsense: Medicaid Expansion Isn't 'Connected' To O-Care

Discussion for article #229088

Kasich has a long history as a bald-faced liar.

Apparently, it’s a job he wants to keep./

Because why have anyone think that you’re a reasonable and pragmatic public servant rather than an ideologue?

While you could, in principle, pass a Medicaid expansion that would be separate from the ACA, that is not the Republican plan in any legislation so-far proposed. And what would someone just above the income cut-off for Medicaid do for health insurance under this scenario?

Teatroll Rosetta Stone: “Maybe if we can get those stupid minorities to believe the medicaid expansion is somehow unconnected to the ACA, it’ll lessen the electoral impact Bill Kristol warned us about in 1993.”

The AP has got to have the interview on tape. Play it!

John’s comments were addressed to the red-necked farmers who are the Republican party in Ohio. My vote’s already in the mail and Johnny boy didn’t get it.

And remember folks, all those things you like about Obamacare? The Medicaid expansion, the exchanges, the prohibitions on arbitrary cancellation and denying coverage for preexisting conditions? All that stuff? Nothing to to with Obamacare. We’ll do all that stuff. We’ll do more of it. We’ll do it better. And when we do it, it won’t cost one red cent! (Apologies to FDR).

If you have to surround the truth with a bodyguard of lies, then the truth isn’t worth it.

You end up forgetting what the truth is.

Sounds like the GOP forgot what facts and truth were a long time ago. But then again, all they care about it their god- Money.

oh Governor Kasich has a bigger problem coming on. Its seems that someone possibly from the Kasich administration may have illegally accessed Ed Fitzgerald’s traffic and police records illegally just like when Joe the Plumber’s tax records were accessed illegaly and then released to the press by an anonimous source. MMM, its seems that Kasich’s campaign manager may have been involved and the Kasich administration is stone walling the investigation. Its so funny how facts are so twisted by this Governor.

I said when it happened that he was either a liar or stupid.

Is there such a thing as the “Kasich Knot”?
you know where you take a length of rope, grab both ends and twist and loop and pull through until you make some sort of hangmans noose?
Twisting in the wind for sure after those late night phonecalls.

Man, the flacks in the black ops bullshit factories have been working overtime on how to claim to oppose Obamacare and insist on burning to the ground and sewing sowing the ashes with salt, but not oppose the benefits actual people are actually obtaining from it. And, turns out, the answer is to spout a bunch of marble mouthed nonsense and assume the press and voters are too goddam stupid to notice.

Have they no shame?

simple. Repeal Obamacare.”

We had guys like Kasich pegged more than 75 years ago:

As always, my position is that we need to repeal and replace.

“As always,”

Sounds like Walter Winchell signing off.

As I understand it, Kasich has made this same lie a dozen times in the last couple years. He is regularly called out on it by national websites – even the conservative ones like Breitbart and RedState – but none of the local papers in Ohio seem interested, so he just keeps spouting the same lie.
