What does this part mean?

Is he apologizing at all to the person he, you know, actually did it to, or just to “the Black community at large”?

I would not be surprised if he truly thinks of himself as not being racist.
I think most racists are aware that being racist is a “bad” character trait. However, they are unwilling to accept the fact that they have any bad character trait(s), and thus refuse to believe they are racist.

Maybe it’s unfair but I’m staring to call bullshit on all of these claims of death threats.
How can it be proven? It’s a kneejerk reflex that seems to follow every single one of the events when someone gets exposed for being the asshat he (almost always) or she is.
It sounds like just more justification for spewing vile racist filth to then follow up with “… but they’re sooo scary on accounta they threatened me!”
Nope, I don’t buy it. And I agree with @brooklyndweller that these folks seem to find their non-apology apology on/off switch when they stand to lose something they really want to keep.

That’s my experience with the Trumptards in my family. They will repost and retweet the most vile, inflammatory bullshit. But if you call them on it and call them racist they go apoplectic. Oddly, they’ve come to accept gay marriage, so I assume the puppet masters have deemed that issue settled and take the loss.

I’m sure Uriah hires a bunch of hard working techs, looks like they have trucks all over OH… Honestly, I’m trying hard not to have as much schadenfreude over this, because there other people’s lives who are getting unfairly tarnished by this one guy’s idiocy.
