Sort of OT. My AC konked out this week during 100+ degree weather. The AC repair guy made me think “how ironic that you know everything about air conditioning systems and yet you are hot as f*** all the time.”

He probably believes he isn’t a racist. His actions belie that belief.
As a nation we need to confront the sort of racial prejudice that is a lot white Americans have festering just below the surface.
My own pet peeve is local Action News. In a lot of communities local broadcasters long ago realized that they could pump ratings by covering every crime that happens in the local black neighborhood while downplaying crime in the white community.
This guy got caught and seems to have apologized, but the problem is much deeper than just the occasional middle class white guy who goes off.

Ambien doesn’t make you racist. Being tired doesn’t make you racist. Being annoyed or agitated doesn’t make you racist. Being a racist makes you racist.
They really don’t seem to get that. It’s like they think liberals are also seething about that n***** who’s holding up traffic, but we’re just better at keeping a lid on it.
