A neo-Nazi rally, and the ports of Los Angeles or Long Beach, or a train?
Sounds like a lot of generalized anger/resentment, and some “help” from an undercover agent.
One thought is that a white supremacist rally in Long Beach? That’s a pretty hazardous undertaking to begin with.
But if the FBI is accurate, this guy shows why hate is so evil. The shooter in New Zealand was anti-Semitic as well as Islamophobic. But the accused here lumps anyone who’s no Muslim (and, I bet, his kind of Muslim) into one pot.
Violence begits violence. This is why Trump’s rhetoric, even if it only inspires one attack, can cause a chain reaction that we will be living with for years.
So now we know where the line is. Punching Nazis: Okay. Blowing up Nazis: Not Okay. And how coincidental is it that the FBI was Johnny on the Spot when white supremacists were in danger, but nowhere to be seen when it was “those people” being threatened…
vote, vote, vote, bring a friend, but vote, vote, votey ,vote, vote, vote
Domingo allegedly bought parts, including nails, for an improvised explosive device that would be remotely triggered, but in fact contained inert materials,
I had a contractor fix a deck for me once, damn thing was still ramshackle when he was done. Maybe he was using some of these very same inert nails.
I hate Long Beach Nazi’s…
Complete with photos of the suspects so you you can see precisely why the charges are different…
They’re not bad if you see them with their original bassist.
“A message left on a phone listed for Domingo was not immediately returned.”
Hi, this is Domingo, I can’t get to the phone right now because I’m busy plotting death and mayhem. If you’re calling about the Firebird, it just needs a new timing belt. Leave a message after the cry for help.
no way, they totally sold out, I never listen to them anymore
No one goes to their concerts anymore, they’re too crowded.
Their song in 2006 “Why are Women so Mean” was their last good one, after that they just started catering to the record companies.
When they went from acoustic to electric that was OK, but when they went from electric to gas they lost me.
Don’t forget “Jews, churches and police officers.”
And I walked in, I sat down, they gave me a piece of paper that said “Kid
See the psychiatrist in room 604”
I went up there, I said, “Shrink, I want to kill. I want to kill! I want to see Blood and gore and guts and veins in my teeth! Eat dead, burnt bodies! I Mean Kill. Kill!”
And I started jumpin’ up and down, yellin’ “Kill! Kill!” and he started
Jumpin’ up and down with me, and we was both jumpin’ up and down, yellin’
“Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!” and the sergeant came over, pinned a medal on me
Sent me down the hall, said “You’re our boy”. Didn’t feel too good about it
Arlo was singing about the insanity of our nation’s involvement in these actvities. Now we have a president and a major cable news channel jumping up and down and yelling Kill! Kill!, and everyone with a screw loose can find a place on the internet to teach them who is to blame for the world’s ugliness and how even a lone screwball can become the Army of One that starts The Cleansing.
White guy planning to use this
to kill prominent Democratic politicians and leaders = not planning terrorist attacks, not charged with it and headlines refuse to even suggest it.
Brown Muslim guy with “inert” homeade bomb = terrorist with “WMD”…charged and instantly labeled in the media.
Yep. These arrests where it seems fairly obvious that there was a lot of enabling and encouragement from undercover officers always disturb me.
The gas years were worse than what Yoko did to the Beatles…I mean look at this cover…
Do they disturb you if the encouragement comes from actual skinheads or other types of terrorists? Are they less culpable if their plots and actions aren’t fully their own, but are part of a conspiracy? Law enforcement can’t arrest someone because an informant says they might do something. Should law enforcement take a passive stance, and monitor the person 24/7 hoping to catch him conspiring with real terrorists, as their informant suggested he was seeking out such people for help and advice and tangible assistance? What would it cost to watch a person 24/7/365, trying to catch them interacting with a terrorist?
