Nothing Trump says jives with facts. Sadly a large number of people in this country stopped caring about facts awhile ago. They scream Hillary is a liar and criminal while fully embracing the never ending stream of actual lies and actual criminal behavior by Trump.

[/quote]Exactly why I clicked through to comment. And Obama is in a position to say this directly, since he has both the biggest bullhorn and a term limit. (I hate that amendment under any circumstances, and with Trump, I hate it more than usual.) A beat reporter for the AP can draw a bias accusation and lose his assignment; Obama has no such drawbacks.
