Fuck the Democrats for foisting a 90’s era centrist dem on us.
Fuck the Ds for promulgating an insurance company-friendly healthcare plan that raised rates for some 25% right before the election.
Fuck the Democrats for being mealy-mouthed on climate change.
Fuck the Democrats for being more bellicose than the Republicans.
Fuck the Democrats for writing off Trump supporters as mere philistines w/o any legitimate economic grievances.
Fuck TPM and its (apparently) core readers who ignored the warning signs from months ago.
Fuck the HRC supporters who touted her overwhelming support among minorities
Fuck Obama for his milquetoast centrist Democrat - and smug! - campaigning.
(Oh, I’m sorry! His “No More Fucks to Give!” campaigning.)
Fuck this country for electing, maybe, probably - who knows? - “President FUCKING TRUMP”.
Discuss.
I apologize in advance to my friends for linking to them.
@darcy @michandaro
NYT has Trump with an 80% chance of winning now.
Right now to a lot of countries, we are not the greatest country in the world.
Berniebots, for sure. How else can you explain a 10 pt lose in Ohio when she’s the most qualified candidate ever?
of course it’s all on us.
It’s absolutely true that major American news media saw the entertainment value in Trump’s candidacy. Who knows how successful her campaign’s goading of the media to cover the Trump campaign was, but at the very least we can say: THANKS, HRC CAMPAIGN!!!
Pretty good, although there was a “VOTE TRUMP!” post among the more thoughtful posts. I hate that man, but at the moment I am more disgusted at the centrist D fucks who made his rise possible.
What I do know is that tomorrow our country needs people who are willing to stand up to corporatist takeover of our country now more than ever. Fuck the corporatist Dems who got us into this mess in the first place. If anything good comes out of this election, it’s that we hopefully don’t have to listen to them ever again.
100% agree. if the D(lc) party hadn’t abandoned working people trump never would have happened. I blame them far more for this than the gop.
and the senate. fuck. that should have been ours…
Sorry carlos, but I don’t know what to say.
@michandaro - good to see you again.
Goodnight gentlemen.
And I blame their centrist Dem rank and file enablers for making it all possible.
And regarding the Senate: that really, really sucks. HRC was such a craptastic candidate that she apparently had negative coattails.
good to see you too, darcy! wish it wasn’t under these circumstances…
looks like we could learn something from the gop about running fair primaries. it served them well.
Michandaro is a gentlewoman. I don’t know what to say either, other than to know that it can feel really rotten to be right sometimes. And that tomorrow’s another day, and that we gotta go back at it and do the best we can in a shitty world.
Peace, brother and sister.
Irony of ironies.
Yes indeed.
Michael Moore saw it coming but I thought he was just keeping Democrats scared. But when you have, over the past eight years, the greatest transfer of wealth from the middle-class to the wealthy, something is going to happen. Apparently Clinton’s promising that she was going to make it all work again wasn’t enough or wasn’t believed. But Trump?
Good to see you’re going to survive carlos. You scared me a bit.
so will Trump move to invalidate Obama’s presidency? issue a formal proclamation that Obama was not legitimately entitled to hold the office?
