Thank you, I was beginning to think I was misunderstanding the remarks. I can hardly read the NY Times anymore for the same reason. I laugh everytime I hear librul press, I’m 73 and haven’t found that librul press yet!

What about the straight ones? Does this guy think there is a better option than Obama for her cause? During his presidency the landscape for Gay and Trans has improved by leaps and bounds. Does this asshole know there are governors and senators that want to enshrine and legalize discrimination against Trans folks and Obama has stood against that?
As for waltzing into the USA illegally and then heckling our President…fuck that. Obama cannot allow anyone that wants to to come…undocumented…into the USA. But he has worked hard for dreamers and others. Perhaps this asshole heckler would like a President Cruz or Huckabee better?

If he cured cancer they would squawk about him putting oncologist out of work. Jobs don’t ya know. If he invaded Iran there would be a never ending squawk about “a sovereign country” or perhaps an aspirin factory and if he draped the Stars and Bars he’d get canned for violations of the Freedom to Display the American Flag Act of 2005 which defines the flag as the Stars and Stripes.

The reporting on this, here and in the NYTimes, is so typically lacking. Who are the other people at this LGBT event? People with money? Media organizations? How did an undocumented person get invited to the White House?

The person’s political position is fine. You should always press the government to do more, but the method was awful and counter productive.

Metaphorically, it is the President’s house and also while he is the rightful occupant.
Like renters or lessees having rights but not ownership.
It’s dumb to even bring this up but dumb is what we are up against.
It is more than likely that the, I’m going with this person’s info, LGBT detainees or those deported actually deserve the action they are having against them. The heckler probably had one friend or a family member and doesn’t actually know of some systemic plague directed at his chosen people.
Who believes that President Obama is singling out this community or anyone for that matter?
If President Obama were a spiteful man, we would be teabagger free at this moment because he would’ve rounded this band of hooligans up and put them in bagger camps. And we’ve have the national guard deployed to supervise the gun carrying idiots that terrorize America.
No, President Obama is the epitome of tolerance and the picture of patience. If the heckler would’ve politely asked the President, he would’ve politely gotten an answer but that wasn’t the point. The point was yelling at the President and that is a bad plan in any man’s house.
