Obama Rebukes Comey: ‘We Don’t Operate On Innuendo’ (VIDEO)

That’s exactly what the GOP thrives on…innuendo… it equals guilt in their thinking

Remember, class appointed the ass. This needs to stop. Republican administrations feel no need to extend that olive branch by installing Democrats in key positions, so why do Democrats do this over and over?

Mr. President, have you really not been paying attention to the Republican Party for the last forty-six years? Innuendo is entirely what they operate on, when they’re not flat-out lying.

If all of our elected leaders were as mature and cool headed as Obama, I’d feel so inadequate.

Comey needs a lot more than a rebuke in my estimation considering he has tried to throw the election. And if there’s a Russian angle to this then we have treason on our hands. Comey is attempting a trumpian coup d’etat minus the guns.

In his Friday letter to various chairmen of House committees, Comey noted “we don’t know the significance of this newly discovered collection of emails.”

Comey continued:

“But what the hell, let’s trash the FBI for a political hit job. It’ll be a hoot!”

I’m confused.

Who is “we”? Because from what I’m seeing “we” certainly doesn’t include our law enforcement officials.

…because THIS TIME it’ll be different!

@philrm “Mr. President, have you really not been paying attention to the Republican Party for the last forty-six years? Innuendo is entirely what they operate on, when they’re not flat-out lying.”

Keep in mind he appointed Comey in 2013. This would be after he’d dealt with 4 years of GOTPers spitting in his face.

Must be this Joe Walsh

…while at the same time, proud, happy, and secure. I think I could live with that.

I used to believe in a 2 party system where for a while one party or the other dominates and the other was the loyal opposition. And compromise was the grease that kept things moving. For the last couple decades the GOP hasn’t been grand…or loyal. Obstruction gerrymandering, lying, outright racism, stealing elections by innuendo, demagoguery by the opponent. projection of one candidate’s habitual behavior onto the other candidate, and false equivalency by the media are now accepted and expected events in our uncivil public and private discourse. it’s disgusting.
This election, if our electorate were a rational and intelligent bunch who cared about their country, should be a complete and utter blowout. But it won’t be because we are unthinking n00bs who couldn’t give 2 fucks about our country. It’s now possible that the worst candidate in the history of America could actually get elected. I am disgusted and will lose faith in my countrymen and women if this occurs.

Matt Shuham, this part needs a rewrite:

Politicians from across the spectrum, including past attorneys general in the Bush and Obama administrations, conservative Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the chair of the far-right House Freedom Caucus, have questioned Comey’s decision to send the vague letter, including his breaking with a tradition of not announcing politically sensitive details of ongoing investigations within 60 days of an election.

Grassley’s letter to Comey stated: “I disagree with those who suggest you should have kept the FBI’s discovery secret until after the election.” While Grassley did write that Comey’s letter to Congress “did not go far enough,” because it did not provide"enough context to evaluate the significance or full meaning of this development," he uses that position to strongly imply that Obama’s appointees at the DOJ were hindering the FBI’s ability to investigate the email issue.

Jordan’s position isn’t quite as far from what you wrote as Grassley’s is. Jordan said that Comey “probably did have to send a letter to Congress like he did last week,” because of Comey’s earlier handling of the case (especially the July press conference).
