Ronald Reagan was judged the ninth best president of all time, up from No. 10 in 2009.
Oh FFS!
That pretty much makes this poll… not as meaningful.
Obama’s rank in this should drive Trump to distraction. Let me guess, his first comment will be, “It is rigged!”
George W. Bush ranked at No. 33 (up from 36 in 2009),
WTF!. He was 36th in 2009?
What do you have to do to be at the absolute bottom?
Ronald Reagan was judged the ninth best president of all time, up from No. 10 in 2009.
Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan? The guy who:
- Thought trees caused more pollution than cars.
- DIdn’t mention “AIDS” in public for nearly 7 years while thousands of Americans were dying from it.
- Once greeted a member of his own cabinet with “Nice to meet you, Mr. Mayor. How are things in your city?”
- Ran on a balanced budget platform but tripled the national debt.
- Often indicated in his press conferences that he didn’t know much about his own policies
- Signed away the Fairness Doctrine.
Number 6 is the reason that the current so-called President is a deranged, narcissistic psychopath.
Thanks, Ronnie!
EDIT: I should mention that Paul Slansky’s 1989 book The Clothes Have No Emperor is not only a terrific book about the Reagan catastrophe, but it just might be the best book ever written. I’ve worn out three copies from lending it to friends.
If you’ve never read it, you should, and you will thank me. You can even read the first chapter online: http://www.theclotheshavenoemperor.com/
EDIT: I’ve been reminded that you can pick up the paperback at Amazon for a couple of bucks used. True, and if you like “real” books, go get one. You can probably find one for under $5. Keep in mind that the author gets bupkis from a used book sale, and the print edition is long out of print…
Why must everything produce a survey or poll? I think these are part of the “dumbing down” of our culture. Too many people follow along with the popular opinion without addressing what they really think. I really wish the media would stop quoting them so often. They use them like students do for the paper they have too turn in and they add pictures and double space to fill it in.
Probably die a month after taking office and basically do absolutely nothing because you gave an overly long inauguration speech in the cold and caught pneumonia (Harrison). That’s my guess anyway.
Public Persuasion," “Crisis Leadership,” “Economic Management,” “Moral Authority,” “International Relations,” “Administrative Skills,” “Relations with Congress,” “Vision/Setting An Agenda,” “Pursued Equal Justice for All,” and “Performance Within the Context of His Times.”
Well 45 is going to be last on the next list.
What Chiselin’ Trump’s doing.
Poor Bill Harrison would rank higher if he’d had Kellyanne Conway on his PR team. That whole pneumonia thing is fake news!
Trump: Since I am not at #1 in this poll, this is just another non-Breitbart approved poll. Fake!
Fake news. Reagan is ninth. I bet not a single one of these guys is a fan of congress with sheep or at the very least WWE and NASCAR.
Poor Donald.
His future rank is doomed.
To an even lower score than William Howard Taft’s fungus infection and Warren G. Harding’s pet tapeworm.
Trump is very upset Obama somehow got ranked higher than Benjamin Franklin.
Too bad he destroyed the Democratic Party as a national party.
Trust me… do the survey in a couple weeks and Obama will be up a few notches.
He can turn this around if he starts spending more than a minute each day working really hard at overcoming his lazy disorder and inability to focus for five seconds.
I can just see it now:
“The failing @cspan and their fake news survey…”
We’ll look up someday soon and C-SPAN will be broadcasting RT 24/7. No explanation.
