Poor, sensitive little things. Always so ready to be irked.
So let me get this straight: You rudely applaud when the president says itâs his last campaign, implicitly saying youâll be glad when heâs gone, and then you cry like beyotches when he turns your rudeness around around on you? As former Rep. Bachmannstein would say, thatâs some real choots-paw.
.
âIâve run my last campaign,â Obama said toward the end of the nationally televised address. Republicans in the chamber applauded derisively, which prompted the president to ad-lib a zinger which wasnât in his prepared remarks: âI know because I won both of them.â
Not to rain on the parade, but his opponents were John McCain and Mitt Romney. Itâs like being proud of beating the '62 Mets. That said, Iâm glad Obama rubbed their faces in it. Iâve been waiting for six years for him to tell the GOP to shove it.
Awww, did dere widdle fee-fees get hurt? Tsk, tsk. What a bunch of whiny-assed titty babies.
It was all ok when they made fun of him not going to be around after 2016 but when he threw it back in their face they get their panties in a wad. So typicalâŚ
If you donât want to be zinged, donât heckle the guy with the mic.
Itâs the conservative wayâŚ
Fuck 'em if they canât take a joke.
Of course, the GOP doesnât stop to think the president might not have gone with the ad lib if some of their members hadnât applauded. As usual, whatâs hurts the GOP is the GOP.
In typical bully fashion, youâve got Republicans crying: âWaahhh! Quite fighting back!!â
Dear GOP,
Donât start nothinâ, wonât be nothinâ.
Thanks.
This is why Republicans hate Obama so much â because the black man in the White House wonât tolerate their disrespect. How dare he?
Then he would fall off and the Râs would call everyone who laughed traitors.
That swipe may not have been in the prepared remarks but I am sure it was planned from the outset in case Republicans decided to be asshats⌠um⌠themselves.
So what the Republicans are really upset about is not realizing that Obamaâs speechwriters are smarter than they are.
Yet, dear Joni Ernst couldnât help but repeatedly say, âThe Republican Majority that YOU elected!â What are those crickets I hear in protest?
Wait a sec.breaks in educationâŚtaxes and health care are displays of angerâŚfucking really?
So let me get this straight-
Republican partisans at a formal government event act out in a churlish, derisive manner and promptly get reminded of who is who in the chamber in the most public way possible. And now their feelings are hurt.
Simply amazing.
State dinners Boehner has attended during the Obama presidency: zero.
Did the reporters ask the Republicans why they were so rude as to clap in the first place?
Why, underneath Tom Coleâs complaint, do I hear this subtext: âNow donât go getting uppity, boy!â
