I don’t understand the logic behind thinking gun control or gun safety laws lead to confiscation. Does anyone think that when new safety features are introduced for cars, or race cars being banned on city streets, that it is a slippery slope to confiscating cars? It doesn’t make any sense at all.
How could the government even confiscate guns if they wanted to? Do they go door to door? How long would that take to do that all over the country? Wouldn’t a large number of people be tipped off and hide their guns? Does anyone who worries about this actually think things through?
