suck extraordinary
‘such extraordinary’
I try not to be the grammar police, but this one bothered me in this article referring to the Khans.
“Not to mention he’s a short-fingered vulgarian,” the President added.
I’m going to miss Obama. Class act.
Obama should lay his nads out on the table and say what others have, that Trump is mentally ill. If you’re going to issue a burn do it right.
The President said what is on all our minds, what is the GOP going to do about Trump’s ongoing shame?
Pour it on, Mr. and Mrs. Obama.
The voices of reason and clarity will prevail against a raging Drumpfster fire.
Dems are unleashing a withering barrage of troll on Traitor Trump’s mental capacity and fitness from every quarter. Traitor Trump’s going to go nucle-orange over this. I expect epic White Nationalist re-tweeting and dog whistle ranting, and maybe he’ll fire another aide or two as well, just to take out some frustration.
You beat me to it. I was about to do the same thing.
It’ll be interesting to read of whatever nonsense he spews at today’s Virginia rally. It’s primed to be epic right about now.
This is ingenuous. It’ll do 2 things
-
It’ll make sure that Republicans keep endorsing Trump, no matter the level of shame and derision, because you can’t do what Obummer wants you to.
-
It’ll ensure that they wear the stench of that man all the way through November.
“The question I think they have to ask themselves is, if you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him? What does this say about your party that this is your standard-bearer? This isn’t a situation where you have an episodic gaffe. This is daily and weekly where they are distancing themselves from statements he’s making.”
Man I love this President. Sure he’s made mistakes, but I think he’s seriously a top 10 candidate.
Maybe Ms. MacNeal just wanted to make sure we knew this was TPM.
Trump: I think this president has taken my search for his Birth Certificate in Kenya as a personal offense. Very sad! Putin is better, far better.
This tactic basically gives GOP politicians 3 options:
- Keep saying nothing about Trump, but condemn Obama for meddling in GOP politics.
- Defend Trump where before they tried to skirt the issue of his fitness.
- Grudgingly admit Trump is unfit, while castigating Obama for making them say what had to be said.
Only Option 3 provides a political future for the GOP politician who till now has tried to finesse this (the likes of Ryan and McConnell). I suspect very few will avail themselves of that option, and will instead pick 1 or 2, either of which will effectively consign them to the wrong side of history.
Obama is just f^cking with these assholes now.
I can’t believe the President is saying such things. Mr. Trump has always been so respectful to him.
Winning the Powerball?
Or being a fly on the wall of RNC Headquarters, watching GOP’ers running around in circles like crazed atoms?
Tough choice…
“Obama wondered what comment from Trump would actually force Republicans to withdraw their support for the Republican nominee.”
Maybe, “I am ending my candidacy”?
In democrats’ fantasies, the GOP leadership finally maxes out on humiliation and publicly concedes that Trump is unfit – effectively conceding the presidency to Clinton. But I wonder – the blow back from Trump supporters would be intense – and I expect they’d act out… Perhaps its actually outright physical rebellion from their base that they most fear. Trump has surely been building a powder keg – and the last couple of days he’s been playing with matches.
Exactly, Mr. President. Or, to put it more pointedly still, When are Republicans going to call on Trump to resign as their party’s candidate?
