Trump has fatal character defects, that most Americans, and especially someone serving as the President are capable of diagnosing themselves. He is documenting those defects with great precision and to devastating effect (not so hard when Trump is making it pretty easy to see).
The President is not qualified to make a medical diagnosis, however, and if he did, it would come off as ad hominem. I think it would not go over well.

Keep it up, Mr. President. No one, not even Clinton, can get under Trumpās skin as much as Obama, and Trump canāt go up against Obama because he just doesnāt have the intelligence or grace that Obama has. And I know the President is absolutely relishing this because he has never forgotten Trump and his birtherism, and also I believe Obama is truly offended by Trumpās shocking, desperate,derisive, and un-American (but not un-Republican) treatment of the Kahns and their fallen son. He isnāt using the Kahns for his political ambitions the way Trump and the Republicans used the mother of the soldier who was killed in the Benghazi attack.
I wonder if there is anyone in the Trump campaign who is wise enough to tell the Donald that engaging in a Twitter war of words and insults with a man like Barack Obama is a losing proposition? Iād doubt it, but maybe Ivanka will realize she really doesnāt want to start working for a living by selling jewelry on the Home Shopping Network after the election is over. Of course, the Trump sons can always cook meth to make money, since that seems what they were born for.

Precisely. I fear that McCain, Grassley and other Trump endorsers will withdraw their nominations and, perhaps in McCainās case, even endorse Hillary ā making their hypocrisy easier to hide. Obama calling them out on their endorsements simultaneously makes it harder for them to withdraw their endorsement, and points to the hypocrisy.

I think every Democrat needs to be taking this line of attack against every GOPer. In down ticket debates and elections just straight up ask them, āwhatās line can Trump cross, that would cause you to withdraw your support for him?ā I think itās very effective at exposing the GOP for what they are, a bunch of partisan hacks more concerned with winning than the well-being of our democracy.
