Well, now we have a procedure for when you’re wooing the crazy constituency and some other speaker goes extra crazy with the threats of violence or the ethnic slurs or what have you—you claim you didn’t know who they were, blandly disagree with the sentiments and blame any seeming acquiescence on your habitual and extreme politeness. Problem solved, very tidy.

OMG you have got to be kidding me. I’m no means an expert on these groups but even I know who these people are!
Besides, that excuse is lame in the days of Google - a 5 second search will give all the info you need to kow about it. Biggs is full of it.
As for Rhodes’ comments about McCain, Biggs told The Arizona Republic that he didn’t agree with the sentiment but didn’t think it was his place to interrupt the Oath Keepers founder’s speech.
Ummm, you didn’t have to interupt. You could have simply got the fuck up and left. That would have spoke volumes.
I’m all for disagreeing with McCain. I detest the guy because I can’t stand how bitter he’s become since getting his ass kicked by Obama in 2008. But there is no excuse for that type of talk towards him. NONE. And the State Senator should have been the first to call this type of rhetoric out. Lead by example.
A spokesman for McCain, Brian Rodgers, told the newspaper that the senator had no comment.
I don’t blame the spokesman; no comment is needed because what Biggs and the Oath Keepers did speaks for itself.

He didn’t know who the guy was but you don’t interrupt the founder of the Oath Keepers. If you don’t know who he is how do you know he is founder of Oath Keepers? Am I missing something?
