Discussion: O’Reilly: I Give 'Big Money' To Minorities, Have No Complicity In White Suppression

Discussion for article #235427

Bill O’Reilly during Friday night’s “The O’Reilly Factor" denounced “the
big lie” of “white privilege" and ranted that he wasn’t complicit in
“white suppression.”

“No society is perfect,” O’Reilly said. “Police agencies, local political situations, corporations can all be corrupted. But there is no organized white suppression, and our system gives all men and women the chance to succeed in life if they do what is necessary to compete.”

Billious O’Biley discourses on American Complexionalism.

As John Stewart pointed out, “equal” isn’t how Bill O. was raised. His father was raised in a safe community that was for returning GI’s. White ones.

So Bill gives money, does that mean he has the right to talk smack against minorities? Is this the “pay to prey” right?

This guy. His entire career is an elaboration on the theme of “Because shut up is why!”

I like that “THE BIG LIE” projected on O’Reilly’s screen. It should be a fixture on every show.

and anyone who needs to announce that he donates “big money” in order to justify his behavior is losing in the credibility fight.

What a bunch of baloney.

His screen does not have to be read the way he thinks he intends. My preferred reading:

THE BIG LIE: I have no complicity.

Freudian slip anyone?

Too bad over-doses of egotism aren’t lethal.

Can you say ‘tax-break’ Billo?

Of course there’s no organized white suppression of minorities. The whole system is set up so you don’t have to consciously participate to get the benefits of that suppression. If it was set up any other way there would be the possibility people would realize they’re being assholes and stop participating in the bigoted system. Can’t have that…

Once a person has established a reputation as a lying sack of crap, they can no longer speak even the truth and be taken seriously. .

If black folks chose to celebrate an African holiday by taking to the streets in traditional garb, drinking and marching en masse… the National Guard would be called out.

But there’s no white privilege, BillO.

Why is TPM so obsessed with this guy. I don’t watch Fox because I cannot stand to watch insanity and hate having to see it here

O.Reilly (nee O’Really?): you are a four-star general in the white suppression army, I don’t care what you donate.
