she reached the correct conclusion. rubio is a grade-a phony. what she hadn’t figured out before coming to this townhall is what a lightweight he is. he brings nothing of use to the table except failed, false and unworkable ideas. old school stupid.

“He knows exactly what he’s doing.”

Wonder what would happen if they were dark-skinned Latinos? Same treatment, no doubt.

Thank heavens the kids didn’t have any tomatoes in their sandwiches!

The staff at these events are so clueless to what impact their actions have on the candidate. They were probably told to look out for any BLM activists who’d start chanting and knock Rubot from his programming.

When asked about this situation, Rubio responded by saying Barack Obama knows exactly what he’s doing…

Well, it’s understandable. I mean, why else would a black person be at a Rubio even unless they were media or Democratic trackers?

Having Vid of this would be helpful. I don’t doubt that it happened, but one of the other students should have taped this interaction of the staffer with the students affected.

When virtually your entire potential pool of volunteers and paid staff consist of people who are deeply invested in white grievance politics, you shouldn’t really be surprised when a lot of them turn out be the kind of people who act on preconceptions.

RubioRobot is a TeaBagger. I’m shocked his staff would be Tea Baggers also.

Although I work in, live and breathe politics i don’t do campaigns. I don’t donate money, I don’t canvass, and I don’t phone bank. I rarely attend rallies, but if I did I’d be damned if I allowed some former jv chess player/drama club dork to intimidate me into putting my camera away.

I did all of that for Obama and don’t regret the money I donated or the time I spent. He was worth it. I even donated to the DCCC and DSSC but after how bad the dems treated him after he got elected and the piss poor messaging of the dems. that was it for me. No more money from me either

I have a problem with her not having a problem with Rubio before this incident.

It’s not news that ALL Republicans are despicable hypocrites. The students have learned more at this rally than they anticipated, I guess.

No surprise there - any republican staffer sees a black person filming, they just assume that they’re a democratic operative shooting oppo research.

So, GOP, how’s that rebranding thing going?

Marco Rubio and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Week

“I didn’t have any issues at all with Marco Rubio. I wasn’t there to criticize him or judge him,” she said.

Well, apparently this NYU professor had no issue with Rubio’s harsh anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim rhetoric, but when she is singled out for discriminatory treatment then there’s a problem. Suddenly, the man is a big phony in her eyes. Yeah, right. Cry me a river, Sista. You’ll get no sympathy from me.

Well, since most cameras are people’s phones, I can understand why they didn’t want them confiscated or broken…and I wouldn’t put either scenario past the goons who claim to be “aides” at these events.

Oh, my! This will really hurt Rubio with his base. And all those Independents who were undecided because they just didn’t know who represented them best, will just have a TERRIBLE time deciding if Rubio is the man or not. NOT!

Seriously, is anyone surprised about this? I’m not.

Crying? The graduate students were “crying”? Surely you jest. This sounds bogus to me. I totally buy the story that Rubio’s staffers were A**holes and acted inappropriately, but I really can’t see people breaking down in tears over it.

You might be surprised at how some young adults handle rejection.
