I can’t explain the math error, since it was, as I believe I mentioned, eight years ago. I can probably explain why I didn’t see it, which is that I was laid flat with gastritis and working on about 3 hours sleep and 300 calories a day of rice and mashed potatoes. This was my first thought as well but the fact that Cohn’s leaving coincides with Trump’s tariff braggadocio, maybe Trump really is going to start a trade war.
