Who’s calling the shots? Trump pr McGahn? I’m not at all certain the FBI will be able to follow all the leads. It’s up to the Senate? Is McConnell in charge. What kind of investigation the FBI will be allowed to do still looks fuzzy to me.
Since the investigation started on Friday, the FBI has wasted 3 days doing an incomplete investigation? Do we get those 3 days back?
Now we have a smoke screen, covering up for the kangaroo court, which was to obfuscate the failure of the horse and pony show, to get to the bottom of anything. This phony investigation is beyond those ugly little nested, Russian dolls, and getting pretty deep into onion peeling territory.
Certainly, there’s wiggle room in “anyone it deems necessary.” I presume the “it” who’s directing this business will or has already deemed people “unnecessary” who are in fact quite necessary.
I hope I’m wrong, but one seldom fails when assuming the most odious thing possible with this crowd.
The free press is responsible for this. If NBC and others had not uncovered the extreme restrictions on the probe, we would have gotten to Friday, the White House and the Turtle would announce the investigation had cleared Kavenaugh, and that would be it. After it was reported, they couldn’t get away with it.

I guess we now get to see if the FBI/DOJ still operates like a true professional investigative body or has already fallen to bits. Because even in a few days given the mandate they should be able to find out a great deal of information.

They have to rush the process so it doesn’t interfere with the next meeting of the Keg City Club.
