ā€œSessions will get to decide whether to accept the recommendation, a move that would threaten his ability to collect a pension after his 21-year career with the FBIā€¦ā€

Sessions is the kind of spiteful, horrid, little passive-aggressive a$$hole who makes other spiteful, horrid, little passive-aggressive a$$holes sit up and say, ā€œNow, there’s a spiteful, horrid, little passive-aggressive a$$hole!ā€

It’s the guy that keeps lying to Congress that should be fired.

Even by modern Republican standards, even by Trumpian standards, this move would be craven and contemptible. For sure, it’s something that only a man born into wealth, who has not worked a day in his life, would ever contemplate.

But he’s a law and order president, remember! Very, very bigly respect for law enforcement, not like Hillary!

I’m not entirely sure this was entirely Sessions’ idea. Let’s just say if you took away 90 percent of the stupid, cruel, vindictive things Donald Trump has said and done in the 71 years he’s defiled this earth, the other 10 percent would still make him utterly beneath contempt. And that’s just what we know about.

Well, with Kudlow in as Economics Advisor, it won’t be long before Magoo is replaced by Jeanine Pirro.

You beat me to it…remember, the NYC office of the FBI was reported to be fairly virulently anti-Hillary during the 2016 election and goaded behind the scenes by Rudy Giuliani.

How much more can Trump et al do to turn the entire agency against them and effectively incentivize them to start feeding more damning information to Mueller and the media?

Andrew McCabe isn’t a perfect man, he’s reached a level where he’ll always be able to secure a relatively plum teaching or lobbying position, and he’ll never have to worry about how to pay the bills. Many, many federal workers have suffered a more personally damaging fate.

But no one deserves to be treated this way. I wouldn’t wish this even on a piece of shit like Jeff Sessions. I thought we left the shame of the stockade back in the seventeenth century.

To treat a public servant in this way, to jerk him around so publicly and make such a mockery of his career, honestly brings tears to my eyes.

McCabe was one of the people Comey confided in regarding his meetings with Trump. Additionally, I’m fairly certain McCabe Independently knows where the bodies are buried when it comes to collusion. So, expecting Trump to do the stupidest, most vindictive thing, he’s a goner.

Go ahead, Jeffy, pull the pin.

You know you want to.

Exactly. They get mad and get even.

This is beyond the pale. And yes, it will go beyond this pale, but IMO, this is a tipping point. When the end comes for these cretins, I hope it will be on the same scales as their crimes, legal and moral.

The mean spiritedness of so many Republicans is appalling

Jeff Sessions embodies a lot of really wretched moral failings and character flaws, but I would not describe him with the words ā€œpettyā€ or ā€œvindictiveā€.

Which is this to a ā€˜t’. Or more specifically, a ā€˜T’.

Not stupid. Evil.

McCabe’s a career offical, not an appointee. Pretty sure that a termination has to go through a mountain of time consuming HR paperwork. And there’s not enough time. And, should they attempt to fire him, McCabe could sue and woudn’t that be enlightening?

These trumpist fuckers need to go. Time to dust off the drays and guillotines.

"Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency? "

The twisted irony - Roy Cohn - Trump’s idol - is substantially responsible for the original utterance of this statement - and if forced to account for the pain and abuse that was visited on people by virtue of his actions - Cohn would have said ā€œso what? I could not care less about other people and how I damage them - screw themā€

… and that is exactly the way Cohn mentored Trump to be …
