“Outgoing House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA)…”

Just savoring the opening to the article.

Nunes, squawk all you want to. You are a lame duck.

Let see the man who was Director of the DIA knows that when two FBI agents show up it’s not a chat. And Devin they even told Flynn what they were coming to talk to him about. That’s not entrapment you loony bird.

I hope when the mopping up occurs Devin is left hiding in the corner.

And this is the fool that was in charge of ‘investigating’ Trump. No wonder they didn’t find anything.

Long past his sell-by date. It’s over, Numbness, you’re just another face in the crowd.

“Nunes later in the interview claimed that Flynn only pleaded guilty to lying because he was struggling to pay his legal fees.”

Of course, when Flynn entered into this plea, he had to testify, under oath and under the penalties of perjury, that the charges against him were true. Which means that, according to Nunes’s scenario, Flynn committed perjury.

The big embarrassment to the country is Nuuns, right behind Trump and his minions.

Devin Nunes is a victim of entrapment by stupidity.

House Democrats have to mount a thorough and brutal Ethics Committee investigation of Nunes and his disgraceful official misconduct in 2017 and 2018. They should put him on oath, warn him about the consequences of lying on oath, then refer their findings to prosecutors and/or expel him from the House. No mercy. Not out of vindictiveness, but in order to salvage what’s left of our democratic institutions.

It was well short of entrapment.

Obviously, Nunes has never served his country, never put his life on the line.

This is a Lieutenant General of the United States Army leading a standing ovation for Vladimir Putin, who wants to destroy this country.

Also, this test balloon about people pleading guilty because they run out of money for legal defense.

Flynn is the victim. The government is the villain, and they use the treasury to browbeat innocent folks into supporting a false narrative. Obviously the solution is to de-fang the government by bankrupting it. Suddenly the dirt-poor dead-end Trump voters in GOP states have a common goal with the tiny cadre of unimaginably wealthy people!

No, that’s a bank loan done Manafort-style.

I guess I can skip Colbert tonight, since I’ve already had such a good laugh. Thanks, Devin!

Mueller’s reply: “Sir, please. We’re very busy right now - you’ll have to wait your turn…”

The fact that he is attacking the FBI instead of quavering in a corner awaiting what you suggest indicates a the same kind of stupid entitlement exhibited by Papadopoulos, Manafort and Flynn.

This could not exist without the evil presence of Donald Drumpf and the belief–shared by his minions–that his tentacles of corruption and criminality have deeply penetrated these democratic institutions.

Well, he didn’t lose his seat, just the chairmanship. IIRC, he will be rank(ing) member of HSCI
