The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) dropped its fundraising agreement with Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore on Friday.

It'll be back into effect in less than 14 days.

Oh please…this is ALABAMA. This will probably send another 3,500 bible-banging hypocrites to the polls to vote for him.

Roy Moore has shown himself to be a completely tedious cliche. Next, please.

In two weeks, when his polling appears to still be viable, they’ll get back in nice and quiet.

I’m always down for a war between the national GOP and a state GOP. There’s no winner there, except the rest of us.

I just want to add something I posted earlier this week. I was just last weekend in a small city in northern Alabama. I saw exactly no Roy Moore signs. I saw 10 Doug Jones signs. I have no idea what that means there, but that was what I saw.

The AL republican officials rallying to defend Moore, even to the extent of saying they’d rather have a pedophile than a Democrat in office, is a harbinger of what we’ll see if similar allegations against Trump come to the surface. The Moore case is like a shitty little petri dish.

It means there are fewer letters to remember.

I agree. I think we are in for a full blown nightmare about the depth and scope and power of the RWNJ bubble.

It’s certainly something to keep in mind. I don’t think the point is lost on the Trump administration bozos.

New poll has the AL-Sen race deadlocked at 46-46. Moore will not be able to win if he stays in hiding. He’s gonna have to step out and embrace the pedophilia and run a dirty campaign against Doug Jones, something that he’ll have trouble doing.

Given the scrutiny that the Mercers and other wealthy folks (Icahn) are under for association with Trump, it will be up to the evangelical community to fund and push Moore. I’m skeptical that the mega churches want to get involved, as they have their own dirt that will be uncovered. The Moore scandal threatens to upend the entire evangelical power structure in the South.

So basically, Moore is going to be left with partisan tribalism as his anchor to win. I think his odds have worsened considerably. In a less partisan era, I don’t think there’d be any question that Jones would be ahead of Moore by 10 points with all that’s happened. But we’re in a tribal, racially charged era so that will still give Moore an edge, but where I had him at a 60%-65% favorite, I think Moore is now a nominal 53% favorite.

Wish I could believe you were wrong, but I am afraid you are most probably right…

Well that’s way overdue so I hope to god you are right about this. It’s the evangelical power structure that keeps the south backwards.

Sorry Roy, Nobody Knows You When You’re down and dirty.

Probably that nobody wants to publicly support a sleazy pedophile.

However, once safe in a voting booth?

Imagine being an Alabamian:

1). Your President is a sexual predator and your state voted for him anyway.

2). Your Republican ex-Governor had to resign because of a sexual scandal amid four felony violations…and many of you would still vote for him over a Democrat, if he were ever allowed to run again and he’s not.

3). Your Republican nominee for Senate is a nasty pedophile, hypocrite, and pervert…and will still likely be the next Senator from your state.

You people are an embarrassment but I repeat myself.
