Obviously then, this is something the FBI could investigate pretty easily. I don’t see how they get away without doing an FBI investigation… I am sure they are already lining up the best Agents from the FBI NY Office

And Grassley and the PR firm knew all about it–in July.

Yep… even in Kavanaugh withdraws.

This is the bigger political story actually. Republicans on the committee were in full rush knowing all of this.

It’s old hat that Kavanaugh is a scumbag.

OT: One ugly note in the whole Trumpian saga with be the The Paper of Record’s loss of credibility. I have reading the NYT for 40 years --w/o ever living in NYC. Although they have broken some good stories, their hunt for the scoop has led to some poor choices. My trust is now going to WaPo and LA Times. We’ve cut our NYT subscription back, but may be cancelling soon. The NYT newsroom never got over the WaPo scooping them on Watergate.

I’m astounded and more than a bit chagrined to realize that even with all my experience working with both victims and perpetrators of sexual offenses I, like many victims, listened to the initial accusations against Kavanaugh and assumed they were singular examples of his behavior.

I should have known that absent any measures to intervene by authorities there would be further victims.

As hard as it is for victims to come forth, the odds of them speaking up escalate enormously when they become aware that by speaking out they can become empowered to help prevent further victimization.

Even bigger story, again obscured by salacious Trumpian chaos-making:

Who bought up Kavanugh’s gambling debt?

A: #MOB

See @LincolnsBible on Twitter, who has it all.

Feckless. Absolutely feckless.

Alas, The Old Gal has gone senile in her old age.

Oh.

The GOP will just call this more Obstruction of (their) Justice.

Saw this there. Damn it. I knew these women had an angle. This has been done before. Enough! Why not disclose this info? Shame on CNN.

This one’s going to be tougher to wriggle out of. Not just one woman whose memory is somewhat hazy, and who may have had too much to drink at the time, but a number of witnesses, upon whose memories the event is branded with some intensity. It’s only a matter of time before we start hearing from the “I was there, it was really gross, and it was definitely Kavanaugh” crowd.

Link please? L’S Bible is rather prolific.

I like his/her yelling about Mark Judge’s alt-right connections though. Haven’t heard that rumor before–I just thought he was a GOP dead ender. ALso, the Trump family mobster story is fun.

I an truely shocked!

You also had Ed Whelan checking out her LinkedIn profile when Kavanaugh was selected for confirmation.

Ha! I bet these emails were produced by paid leftist Democraticist Democratist protesters and deployed carefully so as to catch the attention of the media and provide the paid leftist Democratist protesters with plausible deniability of the fact that this is all really just about POLITICS and the left trying to seat extremist judicialist activists on the SC instead of nice centrist Republican jurists who have lots of nice Republican women writing letters that say the nice centrist Republican jurists are nice to nice Republican women.

(If you can follow that, you’re ready to join the ranks of QAnon!)

Reading about this on some GOP sites. I did not know that Yale graduates were known as “Democratic Operatives.” Bet it sounds better in latin or something.
