Discussion for article #241421
The GOP has become so nuts I can see a day when the Con party brings guns to their first debate and blast each other to pieces, the winner being the one who doesn’t die.
And their supporters will wildly cheer that idea.
They would probably shoot the “liberal mainstream” moderators first, to great cheers from their ilk.
Nicely done. And good to see HRC’S campaign double down on this golden opportunity. No quarter.
Me Likey.
More like this .
Call out the bullshit emanating from Bullshit mountain (thank you Jon Stewart)
Loud , every time .
Let us show “we’re mad as hell and were not going to take it any more”
I was disappointed to see the ad only runs on MSNBC and CNN, that seems like a pretty weak audience for the strength of the ad. Why not run it on FOX?
Hahahhaaaaaa… I crack myself up sometimes.
Heh. That was good. And way to use McCarthy’s actual words to show what many of us have known for awhile now. Republicans could give a fuck about the 4 deaths; this is ALL about taking down Hillary.
The same is true about the email “scandal”.
Well done, Hill camp. And thanks for not using the quiet room, NcCarthy.
Figures, it takes a McCarthy to awaken America’s ire.
McCarthy made this statement on Sean Hannity’s show. You would think a bright and savvy political strategist like Hannity would have tried to steer McCarthy away from such partisan and harmful rhetoric.
Way to go gril
This ad should have been a powerful ad; however, it is weakened by her backhanded jab at President Obama (statement in New Hampshire) by her statement that if she were president she would shut down any such committee. The President does not manage congress and their committees. If they did there never would have been a Watergate Hearing.
Yep, well done. No quarter…and take no prisoners, I say!
McCarthy’s statement may literally go down as the absolute worst in US political history. He’s not only given up the game, he’s indicted a ton of fellow Republicans in the anti-Hillary conspiracy.
And I do hope Hillary and all Dems start calling it out for what it is: a Republican led conspiracy backed by two of the most powerful Republicans, Boehner and McConnell.
Wow, the GOP attack dogs are foaming at their mouths so much that they need bibs…
They should rename them “the McCarthy Hearings.”
The President does not manage congress and their committees.
True. But the President has (or used to have) some influence on Congressional leaders and their priorities. Sounds to me like this is an abuse of power by the GOP and could be potentially illegal.
I’m not saying they are all untrustable, but we won’t know until we check. Amiright?
McCarthy = Palin in Pants.
I wish TPM would show the clip from the Town Hall where she talks about Benghazi and her relationship with Ambassador Stevens. It’s powerful, forceful, and emotional. I would think that someone who knows very little about the situation would come away thinking HRC did nothing wrong. Later in the campaign it will make an excellent ad.
The Movie Idiocracy was Prophetic.
President Camacho would be wildly popular with the Reich-Wingers (if he was WHITE)
Come on, we all knew this was the reason behind the “committees”. I was wondering when she was going to use this to her advantage…
Advantage - Hillary!
I am not supporting the committee or for that matter most of congresses actions lately but Secretary Clinton was wrong in her statement (thereby weakening her powerful ad) unless she is really running for Speaker of the House.
