Discussion: New Data Shows Republicans' Health Care Self-Own Is Taking Its Toll

I love that idea. Anybody got numbers on this scenario? Have you shared this with your Governor, Senators, Reps?

It already is. I deal with plenty of people who tell me “I don’t need health care. I have Jesus!”…

It’s a good thing that Trump voters are getting screwed, bigly! I mean, I do hope that these and other moves by the republiscum’s further hurts their own constituents to the point of their squealing like pigs over how badly they have been treated.

Then, I do expressly wish the Republiscum’s do further hurt to their own kin. Let them die on the vine, I say, as they deserve EXACTLY what they get!

God we can only hope they soon go extinct!

Here’s a stupid idea: Create a 30 second ad for each pair of related graphs on an issue in which the lines or bars go up for Democratic policies and go down for Republican policies. Take 12 seconds to describe each graph and 6 seconds to summarize at the end.

It’ll just sadden you. Like that town that didn’t credit Pres. Obama’s policy for decreasing their unemployment rate.

Sorry, but MSM sound bites will sink the Dem message - remember Hillary’s speech?

Dems could simply put up a billboard next to the closed factory with a picture of Donald Trump sitting in his gilded living room (the one that looks like a cheap knock-off of Saddam Hussein’s palace) captioned, “How do you like me now?”

So what’s the right approach?

This is one reason why the graphs need to be reduced to a big ole pie one in primary colors with a simple tagline.

Alas, that means Dems will transform it into a Rorshach ink blot test that is definitely bound to convince moran Tr*mp voters to vote blue. Or so they think.

No. So clearly it wasn’t the traumatic event for everyone you seem to imply. Or That One Single Thing That Doomed Her Horrible Campaign, to put it in EmoPro talk.

How ironic that Trump is going to kill off his supporters quicker therefore shrinking the republican party faster than average. It is very sad that those in red states are voting for republicans who don’t care about them at all.

They don’t want to save money. They couldn’t care less about the money, except as a club to beat people with. If costs go up, that just “proves” that the gummint can’t possibly afford to subsidize healthcare. They’ve already started using that obscene tax cut for their friends as a justification for slashing services, because, y’know, the deficit.

That’s too complicated for the DNC or anyone else in the party to deal with.

Besides, the GOP would just turn it around and call it fake news and their followers would believe it.

Doesn’t matter - aspirational voting
you’ve seen the picture of the billboard in India during the election?

nope, the fundamentalists are breeding more children as fast as they can

What do we care how the GOP responds to it? Aren’t there more of us than them?

There may be, but their message defeated the Dems in 2016. They have a process that works. We don’t.
