Discussion: New Analysis: Trump Could Sweep Toss Up States And Still Lose The Election

Don’t over think it  I was half way trying to be cute and being all the way too lazy to think up the opposite of peaking in the polls.

He isn’t peaking in the polls, he is declining. And while mathematically that could continue until he reaches zero…in reality, it won’t. A backlash effect of sorts will start to kick in, he gets seen as a victim of the mean media, he gets seen as the underdog, he gets seen as over exaggerated. Whatever the cause(s), he will most likely solidify at some number, and perhaps even rebound.

And when that happens, the only way the cognitive dissonance can be dealt with is…people will normalize his actions and words. Look at the religious right for a prime example…Trump is about as anti what they proclaim to stand for as a person can be…3 wives, proudly brags about screwing around without a condom (his own private Vietnam), curses like a sailor on a regular basis, until just a few years ago was a staunch supporter, not just with words but with money, of the right to choose, doesn’t know a lick of scripture and gets caught lying about that. But they have somehow rationalized all that away…normalized his behavior…and support him.

There you go. The Trump is an anomaly of sorts. Just a noise in the distance that isn’t exactly identifiable.
There is no reason to waste time and effort trying to pin down exactly how bad or weird or whatever he is, just know that he is and that he has plenty more in the tank.

As far as this article’s claim, it’s reassuring that he could exceed his expectations wildly and still lose. But lets get real, that shit ain’t happenin’. He exceeded his expectations by getting this far.
POTUS is too real and time consuming besides the fact that he has no clue.

And the religious do themselves no favors proving that they can be suckered this badly, if you know what I’m sayin’?
