Certainly sounds like Obama doesn’t fall into the same group as him. Why is Obama outside the “we” group. Which should cover all humans.

Meh. That’s a lot better than Nebraska’s previous governor would have said. Until the new governor proves himself to be an asshole, I’m willing to give him at least a small chance.

Of course, “half-breed” wasn’t the real word they wanted to use but they wanted to keep it classy.

Also, what is it with the gay marriage/bestiality meme that the GOP base can’t let go of??? Like that Black “preacher” down South that dressed up his mule in a bridal gown and thought he was making a statement.

good grief… i am continually gobsmacked by these revelations into the psyches of these ‘public servants’… you’d think these are the kinds of thoughts that if one held them, would – you know – keep to yourself. what fucking century do these yahoos think they live in…
and as if further alienating the black community isn’t enough, i’m sure that nebraska’s considerable indian population might have a reaction as well… since that’s a well-worn slur against indians.

I don’t care who wrote those “entries.”

It’s McPherson’s blog, and he knew those comments were there—he’s a white-sheet racist if ever there was one.

Most Nebraskans would disagree with him—I went to grad school in Lincoln, and the black population is pretty well assimilated, with some exceptions.
Interracial couples were a dime a dozen in the mid-80s when I was there.
