I note that McPherson has deleted the posts and promises to monitor them more carefully in the future. But there was no mention of trying to find out who wrote these offensive posts to punish them. Let bygones be bygones I guess. Meh.

When is the Republican Party going to figure out that the reason there are so many proud racists among their ranks is because their policies are inherently racist? When are they going to figure out that all the dog whistling is attracting a special breed of racist dogs that will more than likely keep them out of the WH in 2016 and beyond?

The World-Herald link has a series of screen captures thumb nailed, and there’s an image from an entry from February that’s formatted as an article and Titled “We Agree: The President is no SubHuman Mongrel”. The body continues “We think Ted Nugent is cool, but we would never think of calling a half-breed a sub-human mongrel…"
A submission from someone else would at the least have to have been formatted, but the notion that some unknown commenter is submitting comments that are formatted as articles, carry a theme (Obama as half-breed) over a period of at least 10 months, and use the editorial ‘We’ doesn’t pass the straight-face test.
Not that his half-breed comments stand out really, in terms of offensiveness, from the rest of the stuff visible in the cached posts in the World-Herald article and those available on the Way Back Machine.

How about “deserving of the same civility and respect we would accord any U.S. president”? Imagine if someone had made an equally derogatory remark about G. W. Bush, or had dared call him a liar during a congressional address. The GOP would be in full Piss and Moan mode and the miscreant would find himself in Gitmo before the echo faded.

It literally breaks my heart to think that these horrible things even pass the President’s desk. There has been no better human being to occupy this white house since Jimmy Carter. I take personal offense at every insult that this put forth against this President. I hate these mutha fuckas. Every single last one of them but I applaud the Governor of Nebraska for showing some class.
