Discussion for article #229313

So this is what opened Ronald Reagan up to the satanic influences that ended up ruling our country at that time. Creepy.

I don’t see much difference between astrological or religious divination for the purpose of governing a country. Both are based on belief systems which defy rational scrutiny.

So, she basically made 36,000 a year fleecing a stupid President and his ignorant wife. Incredible.

It’s hard to believe anyone buys into that crap these days.

People believe all kinds of crap and always will. Doesn’t make it right.

Miss Thang could predict the future and didn’t choose a hairstyle that future generations wouldn’t snicker at?

In today’s money that is more than 6 grand a month. There are many many families that would love just one third of that to make their lives reasonable comfortable. Amazing that a non elected person had that much power over public events.

And the eyebrows! On the other hand she predicted with 100% accuracy the date she would die.

It’s too bad Joan wasn’t a closet liberal. That would have been hella sweeeeeeet.

This is just liberal socialist lies from the Kenyan.

Every Tea Party member knows that St. Ronald was a god fearing christianist who dedicated his life to imposing the holy scriptures of The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged on America.

At least she was able to predict her own demise accurately.

Didn’t she? You mean astrology is fraudulent? That means Ronald Reagan was too? Maybe she was the one who let the Contras sell coke and kill nuns & also sold missiles to the Iranians. Somehow it all now makes more sense. Thanks astrology!

Will this change any Republican’s / Tea Partier’s / Ayn Randist’s image of Holy Reagan? Of course not. And can you imagine the screaming if Hillary Clinton or President Obama consulted an astrologer? In fact, there is screaming from the RWNJ if they consult an astronomer, bc science, you know.

Not to belabor the obvious but CAN YOU IMAGINE if this had been Michelle or Hillary? The right-wing fuckwads go crazy because Michelle Obama tries to get kids to eat healthier. Amazing.

Believing in Astrology is no weirder than believing in supply side economics, tax cuts pay for themselves, etc.

I’d bet the so-called religious would totally disagree with that statement.

However, this is hilarious, in a frightening and WTF kind of way.

Bedtime for Bonzo.

Isn’t there something in Leviticus prohibiting divination and sorcery? Aside from that, Reagan was a good Christian.

Of course the Religious Right won’t utter a peep about President Pruneface’s obsession with astrology. They will continue lying for the Lord by BSing about Reagan’s deep Chrisitian Faith!!!

So the politician who rode a wave of Evangelical Christian activism to two terms in the White House was apparently not a Christian at all, but a practitioner of the Dark Arts of the Occult?
The Moral Majority and their ilk appear to have been played for fools by a cynical group of occultists who clandestinely kept a paid staff astrologer as their “…most closely guarded secret”.

It appears that history will need a re-write.

So basically that whole Republican war on science started a whole lot earlier than we had thought…

Lot’s of women believed in that crap in the 60s and 70s, and this is just a carry over. Nothing to see here, except perhaps the money dished out is questionable. I’m sure there was a SS layer between the this spook and reality. You people are getting your panties in a bunch over nothing.
