Discussion: Mueller Wouldn't Accuse Manafort Of Lying Without Major Proof, Experts Say

Might as well rename this guy Mjr. Proof

Manafort’s lawyers meet regularly with Trump’s lawyers. Trump responds to written questions from Mueller. Days later, Mueller accuses Manafort of lying. Was it a remarkable set-up? It’s interesting timing in any event.

At least with Dubya when he said something stupid it didn’t matter, everyone knew Cheney was in charge…

Trump is a toddler, with his baby hands at the wheel

Which infrastructure week are we speaking of? They’ve had so many. For that matter, we’re about due for another one, what with all the bad news popping up regarding the WiTCh hUNt (which is being conducted by 17 and-a-half angry Dems, or so I’ve been told) in the last few days.

Thanks. Any of those are good for me, too. Let’s have our people sync our calendars.

“While losing Manafort as a witness is no doubt a blow to Mueller’s investigation, it’s not without its silver linings, Cotter said.”

“It’s an opportunity for Mueller to really send a message to all of his cooperating witnesses, now and in the future: do not screw with me.”

It makes me smile that Mueller’s message, ultimately, is aimed directly at Trump, Kushner, and Junior

“until Trump is in handcuffs”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen “straightjacket” spelled that way. Is that a regional dialect thing?

It’s poetry.

The torture, I mean.

Wait.
I may have had a sci-fi mix-up in my head.
At least it wasn’t a Burroughs error.
