Considering Mueller’s thoroughness, if he says Manafort is lying, it’s because he’s got plenty of solidly documented proof that will put Manafort away for a very, very long time. Not only for breaking the agreement, but because lying to investigators is a crime onto itself.
And Manafort will become a shining example to Papadopoulos and others about the cost of lying to investigators.
Leaves out anyone, and everyone, in Trump’s orbit. Brains is just not what any of those folks have.

Manafort is a dumb schitt. He just damaged his family badly because the gov’t will now seize all of this assets for having violated the plea deal.
The thing that stands out is that Mueller knows Manafort is lying because Mueller has evidence to prove it. He was using Manafort to provide an eyewitness, but didn’t need him for ‘new’ evidence. He wasn’t fishing for evidence with Manafort, just confirming what he already knew and could prove.
