Discussion: 'Morning Joe' Panel: Obama Tangoing After Brussels Was A 'Mistake' (VIDEO)

All I remember is George W Bush playing guitar while thousands of Americans were displaced or killed in New Orleans.

Huge mistake! No way President Obama will get a 3rd term.

And following along to the pictures as a bunch of children read “My Pet Goat” to him while terrorists were flying planes into the World Trade Center. Even though he had been told AND warned that this could happen.

IOW they wanted the President to run and hide in a bunker, much like another President did. Then of course they would be harping on and on and on about how the President was afraid.

Idiots one and all.

That is exactly the outcome any terrorist is lookingto achieve. For us to run and hide. For us to stop living our everyday lives. You will not see this 70 year old doing that, not in a million years.

Something terrible happens every day in this world. Terrible on the level of “Oh, the humanity!!!” proportions. Goddamned Republicans would have the President mope around the White House in his pajamas, crying into a hanky and bemoaning the deplorable state of the world. Geez, STFU. Please.

The morning Joe panel have never seen a tango that they really like. We’ve come a long way when morning news has now become “Dancing with the Stars.”
Next up Ted Cruz does the Monster Mash.

The president did not stop his schedule when there were terrorist attacks across Africa and Asia in the last month. But Mika didn’t have relatives who have been stationed there and…#WhiteLivesMatter.

If Obama were a member of the GOP aristocracy he would know that “Stuff happens.”

How many people were and are even aware of what Obama did yesterday? Rarely has the political pundit echo chamber seemed more apparent.

Some days, “Morning Joe” helps the terrorists.

Fools. Buffoons. Pompous asses all.

Yes but if he was a white Republican with a northwestern European surname and he visited a gun shop the day after Sandy Hook they would say that he was just showing his support for responsible, law-abiding (White Republican NRA members.) gun-owners.

Sure, of course. Anytime 2 or 3 religious fanatics decide to coordinate an attack to either shoot or suicide bomb innocent bystanders in soft targets the president should drop whatever he is doing and focus all his attention on their attack. With the proviso, of course, that this happens in a friendly western country and not in some god-forbidden 3rd world hell hole!

Anyone got time to make a list of what the other Presidents/Prime Ministers were doing all across Europe at the same time Obama was at a baseball game or doing the tango? I’m sure it’s possible, no? TPM? No? ah well…

This nontroversy…and, generally speaking, you know there’s a good chance it’s a nontroversy when some bobblehead is barfing “optics” at you…is all about our national ego. Whether Obama (or any other POTUS) spewed this or that rhetoric, canceled those or those immediate plans, wiped with his left hand or his right in the hours or days following a terror attack taking place in some other country really effects nothing. Believing otherwise is merely a national conceit in which we like to indulge.

To call this merely a perfect example of 2-faced media nonsense might overlook the perverted ulterior motive of these disgraced but still calculating hacks and the fact that this entire set-piece would have been illegal to broadcast prior to the deregulation of the Federal rules governing opinion and entertainment versus news programming.
From Day 1 Mr. Obama has been held to a very precise measure on every crossed t and dotted i whereas Mr. Trump’s vague jibberish, on the other (right and small) hand, is painstakingly translated or reinterpreted into letter-perfect Beltwayese or, in the case of NBC and Trump’s violent Nazi-esque Nationalism, downplayed after months of not being mentioned at all…
Then, of course, we could rudely mention Dubya’s behavior on September 11, 2001 or his codpiece but that would be rude…

My geography is a little hazy. Is Belgium one of those itty bitty states up in New England, or is it one of the big square states out west?
