Discussion: 'Morning Joe' Co-Hosts Hit Back At Trump In Op-Ed: He's 'Not Well'

This is interesting. Apparently Trump was threatening Joe and Mika with a NE story. He demanded an on-air apology in exchange for withholding the story.

Just FYI: Comrade Cockholster will be heading off to Bedminster Township, New Jersey for his 32nd golf outing to fight ISIS this afternoon.

The question now is will he be driving a 600-pound golf cart stuffed with a 335-pound anus across 36 or 54 greens this weekend?

It seems the Saudis have recognized these flaws and have exploited them… the treated him like a inspirational figure when he visited and in turn they got concessions from him including the statement that he instigated the split with Qatar.

And here I was thinking she could be killed with a Silver Bullet. Silly me.

Actually, that would not surprise me. I think the NE did run a negative story about Joe and Mika, but I have not been to the grocery store yet to see the headline while standing in line.

I’ll save you the trip.

Yes I read this account too. I don’t watch Morning Joe so I can’t report first-hand. But the summary I read claimed that senior people from the WH were calling Joe and Mika repeatedly saying that they could stop the NE story. If this is what Joe and Mika actually said on their show I wonder why it’s not being reported. The WaPo has a story on the show but doesn’t mention it.

Edit: Now I see the WaPo story has added this to their story (there was an oblique reference to it in the op-ed): “Brzezinski and Scarborough levied a serious charge, both in their op-ed and on MSNBC on Friday: That the White House threatened a negative tabloid story about them unless they asked Trump — who is friendly with the National Enquirer’s publisher, David Pecker — to have the story killed.”

They interrupted their vacation and spent 30 minutes raking Trump over the coals.

The ratings for Morning Joe have been increasing steadily, as the ratings for most MSNBC programming has done (except for the late and unlamented Greta show.)

“Mr. Trump claims that we asked to join him at Mar-a-Lago three nights in a row. That is false. He also claimed that he refused to see us. That is laughable,” they wrote in the Washington Post, adding that Trump had actually invited them to join him.

Ah, well, the real story emerges. Donnie invited them, they said no, and the baby-in-chief took a burn to that.

You know, another path to his removal from office: everyone who currently felates him realizes what a shitheel he is and starts to snub him. His head would explode.

Ha!

Except you probably meant to say “anuses” plural. That hole above his chin looks suspcially anus-like. And then when you consider the quality of what frequently comes out of said hole… Yup, two anuses. He should be in a circuis freakshow: “The Man With Two Assholes”

And thankfully, I have the option to not tune in to their show, and I exercise that option. But now they’re all over the media, so I am involuntarily exposed. I think, frankly, Trump and Mika and Joe are all in this “controversy” for the publicity. Not one of them is a genuine person, they’re all TV constructs.

This is really bad stuff from Trump…
But it is definitely a distraction, probably from the Muslim Ban details. I hope the media moves on fast, lots of crap to stay on top of.

Trump is mentally ill. He needs professional care. He and his family have chosen to not get him that care.

Consider reserving your empathy for those who will suffer the consequences of that choice.

We have the 25th amendment just to handle problems like this, but the writers of that amendment forgot that a mentally ill president is still the one who appoints the entire cabinet, so that group isn’t going to acknowledge that the person who appointed all of them is wacko and unable to perform the duties of the office. Let’s face it - our constitution is not designed to handle this type of problem. Nor is our justice system, since the president always has the last word when that system operates. And, of course, nothing in the constitution relates to an electorate that is also wacko.
