Trump is truly a HUGE piece of worthless :poop:!

How long GOPERs are you willing to allow him have his way? You’ve got an overgrown child running what was once, THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH, now being shattered before our eyes and you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

How dare she speak of toddlers in such a demeaning manner, she needs to apologize and be fired like Roseanne!

She said Trump responded, “And arm them?” She replied, “No,” but said Trump “kept mentioning” arming classroom teachers. “It was like talking to a toddler,” Hart said.

Nailed it!

If one has to be coached in showing empathy, you don’t have empathy. It is merely window dressing.

I can’t imagine a greater hell than suffering some horrible tragedy and then having to be “comforted” by Donald Trump. Seriously.

OK, I did the sympathy thing with the parents. Let’s go get some money.

Displaying empathy does not come naturally to Trump, who has been criticized for appearing unfeeling in times of tragedy, including when he sharply criticized a mayor in Puerto Rico in the aftermath of a deadly hurricane and fought with a Gold Star military family.
But Trump has at times displayed a softer side. On Wednesday, he returned a hug from an 8-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy who attended a White House event where he signed legislation to give patients the right to try experimental treatments.

Are the nominations for Worst Bothsiderism Of the Year still open?

Yeah I’d like to know myself because surely that will win something.

I think it’s the Hard Bigotry of Low Expectations award. He actually returned a hug from a disabled kid instead of recoiling in disgust and ordering the secret service to wrestle the kid to the ground. So now he’s just this side of (the standard public hagiographical version of) Mother Theresa.

AP is desperately grabbing at any indication trump is not an actual axe murderer.

It was either Maddow or O’Donnell, but they played a clip of PP addressing a crowd and reading off a teleprompter. He read some long statement, then said “So true.” What I heard was, “Oh what a surprise to first learn this info as I was reciting it.” I would sooner talk to a toddler than talk to him. The toddler has an excuse for being incoherent.

With a concatenation of conditions – economy, hyperflation, joblessness, tribalism, nationalism, xenophobia – eh voila, one can have an autocracy in a relatively short time.

And this, when the option was standing stiff as a board, is their “evidence”.
Like everything else, SpankyPP has managed to even make the AP worse.

“ Seeking to comfort grieving families…”
Silly me, I thought he said he was going out there to have fun

Also Thursday, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, whom Trump put in charge of the school safety commission, announced a $1 million grant to the Santa Fe school district to help with post-shooting recovery efforts.

Did I miss an announcement about a large grant for Stoneman and other schools where there were mass shootings?

What? He didn’t distribute paper towels? How disappointing.
