Discussion: Mom Of 'Affluenza' Teen Arrives In US After Mexico Deportation

I want to digress from the topic to wish all of my fellow TPM commenters a new year hopefully filled foremost with good health for all, for more peace and less hate, for police to stop killing black people and for a sensational last year for my beloved President’s last term, and for a big win by the Dems as we take over the White House in 2017,

CHEERS!!

Yep, but she’s still rich.

Aff-mom bears a strong resemblance to Rupert’s wiretapping scandal fall-gal, Rebekah Brooks. Just another wayward ginger femme.

What do you supposed the migratoria facilities in DF are like? I wonder how Chatsworth Osborne Junior likes being locked up with a bunch of Guatemalan and Salvadoran drug mules?

So I have to ask… What is the deal with Carrot Top? I mean I know he’s some sort of personality, but why? Is he a comedian or something? Does he perform in some way, or is from the Charles Nelson Reilly school of being famous just for being famous?

He and Pauly Shore are from the same era in comedy, and met a similar fate.

He’s a successful stand-up comedian. You should get out a little more.

I guess. Frankly, when I do get out more, I always wish I got out less.

I’ve never seen Carrot Top perform, so I guess I don’t get out enough either!

Talk about blowing it. Trading a few minor inconveniences for a possible ten years in prison has got be the dumbest gamble of the century.

The main question here seems to be whether young Ethan will find the accommodations in a Mexican jail more appealing than the ones in an American detention facility.

I’m imaging this kid 5-10 yrs down the road trying to get a job… Some resume he will have to offer.

In a Mexican jail one needs to buy the food (if available), your bedding and a change of clothes. That’s why in many facilities there the family sets up shop in the hall way outside the cell of a relative. Or they hang out just outside the jail/prison. So I expect the accommodations are not what young Ethan is used to. Neither would be his cell mate.

Judge Boyd must be so proud of her judicial ruling right now.

This is all going to play out like a Kabuki drama. I hope the separation for these two will wreck havoc on both of them. They deserve it.
