However seeing how Romney was aware who Weld was endorsing, if he didn’t vote Libertarian or McMullin in '16, like Heller, he likely voted for ‘45’.

Romney is an executive, not a legislator. He won’t like the Senate at all.
He’s smart, but he’s not clever. I don’t see him maneuvering in the politics of the Senate easily.
How many terms does the guy expect to serve? Real power in the Senate doesn’t come until the third term, by which time Romney will be in his 80’s.

Ok someone in my family has a theory on why the west has “a vast number of wackos.” The theory is that these wackos were trying to find “their place” or were kicked out of the place they came from for being wackos. Too bad most were stopped by the mountains, and the hardier ones got over the mountains and ran into the Pacific Ocean.

So, he’s been a full-time resident of Utah for how long now? Oh! Not at all? Then he needs to be challenged on this. If the Dems had any sense, they would have gone to court to block Cheney’s VP spot on the 2000 ticket since he hadn’t been a full-time resident of Wyoming for decades.
Mitt would not be my first choice as a candidate in a progressive state, but a vote for Trump’s conviction in the most conservative state is something we should welcome.
