I know military background is a huge thing on a lot of aspiring politicians’ resumes, whether R or D. Tammy Duckworth, Kerry, Kennedy etc, etc. But sooner or later, the weird feeder relationship between SOCOM and the GOP is going to make me uncomfortable.
Thus appealing to the “baseness” of his base.
Considering the people his base consists of, there’s a real chance they take the permit seriously.

Isn’t there something slightly illegal (besides being morally reprehensible) with the guy who claims to have shot Bin Laden making political hay (and probably money) off of his military actions? He makes me wonder if it truly was he that pulled the trigger.
Greitens’ campaign distributed an email Wednesday promoting bumper stickers with the words “ISIS HUNTING PERMIT 2016.” The sticker says it expires when “we defeat this evil.”

Just like Carly Fiorina incited violence against Planned Parenthood. She should be indicted for those 9 murders at Planned Parenthood. She started it, she egged it on, she incited the violence to murder. Too bad we no longer have justice in America. Or even something less serious, like accessory to manslaughter would still occupy Fiorina and her bank account for awhile. I think she needs something to do now anyhow, since crashing in the presidential campaign.

This Greitens guy has some pretty funny stuff on some of his TV ads. One shows him, biceps displayed, at a range, shooting a semi-automatic weapon, proudly, and at the end of the spot, the target - a barrel, I think - explodes like a Stallone movie device. TOTALLY AWESOME!!! And like all the other GOP candidates on TV, every other phrase is “the real conservative”. The big advantage of all this gun stuff and special effects is, you don’t pay any attention to what he’s saying. How could you not vote for a guy like Greitens?
Is he a Vet? Most of these guys talk a load of BS but never served. You know, cuz maybe he should just enlist in the Marines.
I don’t understand. You have the smartest people in the room (GOP) commanding the largest military in the world led by spineless, incompetent narcissists who, having proven their ability to brown-nose their way to the top, are ready to grant every wish, no matter how ill-advised and/or nihilistic the request. I don’t understand what could possibly go wrong?
