And even more than that, all the stuff they put on basic cable about SEAL training or Ranger training, or whatever (which I admit I have watched), makes it seem like a really, really violent version of cheerleader tryouts. You can do all the push-ups and all the ninja stuff but that doesnāt actually get you the job. You donāt get onto the actual team until the guys who are already on the team decide that youāre the right kind of people.
Now theyāre obviously very honorable, very brave, stand-up guys, but we all have comfort zones and we select our environments accordingly. So Iām creeped out by the idea that the really high-prestige military slots are filled exclusively by conservative, partisan Brad and Chad types who are also the gatekeepers for those positions.
I donāt know if thatās an actual problem or if itās just my inner nerd reacting badly to a crowd of jocks, but I find it unsettling.

Actually, I find this gimmick more clever than anything the Trump clan have done to date.

I have seen this guyās ads. I know Navy Seals are supposed to be the best of the best, but I am not sure Marines donāt have more class.
Since ISIS feeds on hatred, why not go after those who feed ISIS, the Republicans? Buy the permit, kill the governor. Sounds pretty easy to me.
