Discussion: Michael Schiavo Furious That Jeb PAC Used Wife As Proof Of Pro-Life Stance (VIDEO)

Thanks for taking the time to remind us what an asshole you are, Jeb.

Tell me more.

What evil people.

In a just world, Terri Schiavo’s ghost would haunt these people right off a cliff.

It’s the awareness that it was heinous but lack of awareness of the magnitude of the heinousness that led him to confess it that told me he had no business being near power.

How about an ad about Jeb’s daughter’s addiction and death. It would show what an awful role model he and his whole family were to that poor girl.

Pictures of Grandma Bar crying at the grave. Oh right, that didn’t happen.

Don’t see that ad being helpful for JEB in SC or anywhere for that matter.

There isn’t a clearer sign of the persistent vegetative state of Bush’s campaign than its resort to using this issue. The fact that Jeb thinks it’s a winning strategy is final confirming proof that the notion he was “the smart Bush” was an absurd fantasy.

The daughter didn’t die. Recovered. Now married with kids…
I couldn’t believe JEB sided with Michigan’s boob governor on Flint.

What was once a tragedy and failure is now a success. Its the GOP way i tell you…

Not sure you can “own” the rights to this kind of thing. Did Ms. Schiavo, her husband or family sign a release or were they compensated? If not, then you can’t claim ownership.

Christ. And women in his trunk and basement too probably…

If they granted rights to take the video at the time and never asked for ownership of the copyright of the video, the person/organization who took the video owns it.

EDIT: It’s my understanding it was some sort of right to life organization. I also believe that’s her mom in the clip. Clearly they gave permission at the time, but the question is did they ever get the copyright signed over. They probably did not. No one was really watching out for them either.

Double edit: It’s also the reason some of the parents from Sandy Hook and other tragedies registered copyrighted images and the like of their children, so they could protect it. That’s one of the reasons that professor in Florida got fired for harassing them. He questioned why a parent would do such a thing. This is why.

Interesting how one of his acts as governor which most thought would instantly eliminate him from consideration for higher office, is now being used by his Super PAC to show he has the credentials. Sounds like Turd Blossom’s work to me.

This the why and wherefore around medical privacy laws. No politician should use a family’s private hell and conflict in this way. It’s crass, unfeeling, and disgusting as well as self serving.

Just more proof that trump has draged us bodily thru a worm hole into an alternate Universe. Even his rivals have discovered that what should logically derail a candidacy in our former universe works just the opposite here in this one. Make a crass unfeeling ad based on a family’s private medical hell and voters flock to support you.

I’m not sure why the Bush team thinks this will appeal to normal Americans? I’m sure the “pro-life” nuts will lap it up, but they won’t vote for him in the primary and he would have them anyway if he somehow miraculously gets the GOP nomination.

Why does he want to remind sane folks of his heavy-handed interference in a family’s personal tragedy?

I remember it was about that time that I swore I’d never vote for another Republican.

Sen McCain would not be surprised a Bush would pull this kind of stunt in SC

Why would her family have the authority to do that. Her husband is next of kin, not her family.
