Megyn Kelly Wonders Why Blackface is Racist
Megyn Kelly Wonders Why Her Ratings Are Abysmal

You can take the tv personality out of Fox but you can’t take the fox out of the tv personality.
It’s nice that she’s asking dumb questions and hopefully sparing her audience from having to do so… she’s taking their burden upon herself…
I guess for the same reason that “ditsy blonde broad” might be considered misogynistic.
“I can’t keep up with the number of people we’re offending just by being normal people.”
I can’t keep up with the number of people we’re offending just by considering people from a white perspective and not considering any other point of view.

“Don’t be a dick” is just so hard for some people. I promise, your life will not be over if you perceive yourself as being limited to a subset of all possible Halloween costumes.
By her logic, Trump isn’t misogynist or sexist in his comments??
“She gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous
questions,” Trump said in a CNN interview. “You could see there was
blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever. In my
opinion, she was off base.”
I am amazed the Megan Show is still on the air.
I loved how she tried to make the statement race-neutral by adding “…or a black person who puts on white face for Halloween…”. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black person in white face. However “but what about people who do such-and-such a [fictional] activity??” is a staple of Fox news, so it must be a hard habit for her to break.
This Hallowe’en will be interesting. Could be lots of frat boys in blackface with MAGA hats, going as Kanye West… (guilty admission – I laughed pretty hard the first time I saw a picture of such a costume. It gets old very fast though…)
Nazi white power asshole says what? Yet another reason these “people” need to be destroyed.
Yes! And why does the KKK have such a bad rep when all they’re doing is protecting their heritage, she went on to wonder.
Some people wear blackface, others dress up as “journalists” for television.
Both are pretty offensive, in my book.
I agree, Anybody know what the rating are for her show?
She may be that ignorant – that is, have no idea of the origins of blackface.
She evidently sees it as just another costume.
Meanwhile, we are wondering why Megyn Kelly is still on TV.
If you have to ask that question, Megyn, then I am pretty sure you won’t understand the answer.
It’s the sort of question a fourteen year old might ask in earnest.
To any fourteen-year-olds out there who are reading, when you hear in response something like (say) “it makes us uncomfortable in large part due to a very racist past”, the correct response as a decent future adult is “Oh, I’m sorry. I won’t do that.”
"Back when I was a kid, that was okay as long as you were dressing up as a character.”
“The separate drinking fountains and bathrooms were nice, too!”
this is theater. don’t confuse it for substantive discussion.
