Shut up, Megyn, Josh Duggar was the BMOC for the Family Researvh Council, an organization that these Republican leaders have whole-heartedly embraced. Gee, I wonder how hard hitting her interview with the 2 creepazoids at the head of that family will be.

Of course, Megyn. This isn’t a syndrome of GOP candidates sucking up to this season’s flavor of celebrity fundamentalist. It’s just that they all happened to meet Josh and found they really, really liked him as a person. It’s not some political thing, sheesh.

No Megyn, it’s not the personal weakness, it’s the hypocrisy. Think back over the (now known) conduct of Newt Gingrich, Denny Hastert, and Bob Livingston during the Clinton impeachment hearings. Add to that David Vitter and a host of Republicans who are constantly admonishing the rest of for our behavior. Then you have Mike Huckabee who embraces not only Duggar, but Ted Nugent who sings about having sex with underage girls and physically calls the President a subhuman mongrel, calls the former first lady a “toxic cunt” and has long history of racism, sexism, and homophobia. And then think about the right-wing hysteria over president Obama’s association with Reverend Wright. And Megyn does not think it if fair to hold Republican politicians accountable for the people they embrace. Oh, the irony.
