But…but…we’re told she’s the good journalist at Fox.
Puh-lease.
Her supposedly hard-hitting question to Jeb Bush was “Given what we know now was the invasion of Iraq a mistake?” It was no more difficult than Katie Couric’s “What newspapers do you read?” to Sarah Palin.
That Bush couldn’t answer only shows he’s as much an idiot as his brother, it is not a demonstration of hard-hitting journalism.
And remember, after Bush stumbled and stammered the answer, Kelly blithely went on with her next stupid question. It wasn’t until the real press picked up on it, that his answer became an issue.
Kelly gets way too much credit, even among Democrats, for somehow being not a typical Fox personality, but she gobbles Roger Ailes’ tiny shriveled member just as much as Hannity or O’Reilly.

Since the Duggars are a public family AND Josh held a position with the FRC wherein he was publicly advocating their positions (including political ones) AND Josh made public, positive statements on behalf of many Republican candidates AND posed for pictures with them AND the parents are now going to the media for interviews AND they court public attention for profit, Megyn Kelly’s and Howard Kurtz’s claims are a pile of bull shit.

We know she will mention Bill Clinton as many times as she can. She will ignore the child molestation aspect of the Josh Duggar series of acts and she will ignore the potential for psychological as well as physical damage to the very young GIRLS, (not
adult women).

Let’s face it: an interview with the Duggar parents is just another wonderful opportunity for FOX News to remind their viewers how “horrible” Bill Clinton’s actions were and how FOX News viewers must get out and vote against Hillary so that Bill can never be living in the White House again.

That’s that I thought, but the media keep referring to the molestation as ‘allegation’. The media for the most part has not reported that 4 of the 5 girls are his sisters.

What kind of parents allow\ an older brother to keep living in the home after it is discovered that he has been molesting 4 of his younger sisters? What kind of parent ignores the damage to those young girls, and defends the older male child?

What kind of parents do this? I can only think of one kind: the kind that lives in a magic world of Biblical make-believe and ignores the realities and stunningly self-centered nature of their pathological desire to endlessly procreate, all the while ignoring the many needs of all the many children.

What kind of TV network ignores the allegations and goes on to produce year after year of a TV series featuring this highly disfunctional family.

It is political, though. Josh Duggar is involved with conservative organizations. Specifically those bullshit “family values” organizations that spend their days concocting ways to legislate control of the sex lives of citizens. You know, the kinds of organizations that Republican candidates support and will go out of the way to get a photograph with.

Parents who belong to a stupid religious cult like the “Quiverfull” movement allow such things.
These people teach their spawn that it’s the girls’ fault for getting those male hormones in an uproar because 5 and 6 year old girls are so sexy and provocative.
